You should buy it because you want it, not because it will be able to import into any future expansions.

Nope, you should buy it for the items. The content is crap (disclaimer: nope, I don't actually think that all the content was crap. I'm just making a point).
See? It goes both ways.
Morale? Don't tell people why they should do/not do something ( especially considering that the items were a major selling point, in RtO) or what appeals or doesn't appeal to them.

For me, the items have never been the primary attraction of the DA:O DLC; I've gotten them mainly for the story, and any items have been given to allies instead of my PC (Cailan's Armor was for Alistair, not Elissa in my first RtO playthrough). Heck, I didn't know that you had to talk to Levi's brother to have him forge Starfang until after I had beaten the game. I'm not saying that it's the only way to do it, but it's the best way for me.

I am going to be honest, I did use the DLC Items up until I've gotten Wade's set. Than I've replaced all my stuff that is DLC with tier 7. All that DLC Is really is to help you to end game. Once your near that end game than you use the non DLC stuff to beat it. I'm currently trying to finish the elven treaty.

I'm not sad that no DLC being carried over. It just gives me another reason to play the expansion. I think this expansion the way it looks and sounds is good.

Then ya must notta paid good money for it.

Are you implying that because I am not being immature in my disappointment that I pirated the game?

It is expected for DLC to carry over. That's not unusual.

I refer you back to my original post about assumptions.

They did not mention that their DLC would not carry over at the time of purchase. That is why people are so outraged.

I'm actually seeing quite the opposite. People are outraged because they have been given answers as to why this is so.

I would have bought all DLC content if no gear had been included in the first place. Each has provided me with hours of entertainment and story. Even at 45 mins per character, with 4-6 characters the content pays for itself many times over.

If you play this game for gear, there are more effective genres out there that are much better at time spent per item received.

If you think the DLC items not carrying over is justification for you to not want awakenings, then don't buy it. The decision has been made so at this point complaining is not going to accomplish anything. It would be much better use of your time to post suggestions to things which might or could change.

Um...yeah. No one is being 'immature' but you. It's the internet. Jeez. Hear what you wanna hear, but I never e en appllied you were pirating.

Second, people are outraged because DLC isn't carrying over. Just cause Bio's song & dance was able ta win you over, doesn't mean it does for others.

Did you even read the part where I said I was miffed that it's not carrying over? They probably could if that had more time, but the fact is that it's not, and it's not like they can change it at the last second.

Absolutley right.

But if people wanna complain, let them complain. Complaining about them complaining definatley doesn't do any good.
