I have played both the Mass Effect games and 2 of my top 3 squadmates, Grunt and Wrex! (Who doesnt like Krogans?!?!) I hope they are both Mass Effect 3 squadmates but if you could only choose 1 who would it be?
i say Grunt...

Wrex. Grunt is a coward. There are too many times on mission where he goes into a corner and hides with Fort on. I have to constantly tell him to go out fight. On the MSV: Mule mission he hides I can't even micro him to fight. He refused to enter the bridge and hid by the door until I cleared the room. Then he enters the bridge and refuse to leave until I killed the dog mechs that spawn outside it. Same thing during the colossus fight. "No hiding"? Please.

Well, Grunt fights in a different environment. Wrex had the I-WIN button known as immunity which could keep him alive indefinitely. Grunt is by far the toughest squadmate in ME2 but then they go down like drunk sorority sisters when **** hits the fan, so it does perhaps not say that much.



I will agree though that his fighting style can be excessively wimpy, especially if he's wielding the claymore which is useless at range. No use having a Krogan hide in the back waving around a big-ass shotgun that can't hit the broad side of a barn.

The mule mission is broken. There is one doorway that is all messed up and allies can't get out of it.

Wrex.  Wrex is everything Grunt is, plus Biotics.  Plus, Wrex is far more entertaining.

That's... well, it's a fault of the AI, but I'm sure you're aware of that. Thing is, Wrex would most likely be programmed with the same (albeit slightly different because he's a biotic) so he'd have done about as much "hiding" as Grunt did.

That said, I think most people are going to choose Wrex for nostalgia's sake, but I think what he's doing now is better for him than going on more shoot'em-ups with Shepard. He seems to be just about the only Krogan out there who can actually do a good job at uniting them, and then setting them on Shepard's enemies like a wild pack of bastards.

Wrex is a much better character then Grunt but i like them both Krogans rule. Anyways Wrex is like a lot older so he would be better "I am KROGAN!".
