Well it seems to work with "farm dwarfs". <_<Servant of Nature wrote...
I wouldn't have minded either, but I understand why they're trying to avoid the 'farmboy/girl saves the world!' thing.
Anyways, no use complaining about it. I'm looking forward to the game and if I have to play the noble good looking human who saves the world instead of the good looking commoner human who saves the world it won't kill me I guess.

That's kinda what the devs were going for I think; I mean the whole stereotype hero setting isn't exactly what they were looking for in this game. Personally I think they way it seems to be turning out is the best to promote new ideas, removing the option of the typical hero and forcing people to stick with a poor elf or dwarf if they want that kind of setting.CmdrCash wrote...

There isn't one because we didn't put one in the game. And humans have two origins, not one. As for why, the answer is "because." Pretty simple, really.CmdrCash wrote...
I was just wondering why there is no origin story for human commoners? I mean the humans can not all be nobles in the DA: O world, so why is the human race the only one with just one origin?
Any info would be appreciated.

Because you see a character type in a trailer, we have to have it as an origin story?JACOBDRAGON wrote...

Shurely not, but it would have been nice and it seems that the demand for such an origins story is there.
Well who knows, in the age of DLC there may a human comoner story in the future.

They've pretty much established that implementing an entirely new origin might be too much work for just a DLC, since it'd required threading throughout the rest of the game.CmdrCash wrote...

It's basically expansion-like work, but I don't think a lot of people would be happy with a $20 expansion for a single origin.
