I think we should all atleast be glad that Bioware is not Silicon Knights. Anyone remember how much the promises DLC for Too Human and it NEVER came? They even had a section in the inventory where the DLC would show up.



Give the folks at Bioware some time, we already got 3 pieces of free DLC(Zaeed, Normandy Crash Site, and Cerberus armor/shotgun) so i think they deserve a little slack.

I am really curious about this DLC. It requires areas that weren't done in ME2, and seems to warrant quite a few new worlds. It seems like it would be better in an expansion pack, just so you could use it more. This is a lot bigger than a gun and a set of armor.

If Bioware stated to everyone that they will be releaseing alot DLC after the game comes out, there should be atleast a vaild list of when they plan on doing this.

Then again they don't have to tell us anything. You see when we got the free cerbersus network card we didn't have to pay for it. If we would have got it off of xboxlive it would have been 1200 mircosoft points just to get it. Im just saying we all got these cards and codes to use the network for free. So yes, im putting something up for both sides. If you don't see it my way or understand it. Then oh well.

What's the point anyway? There are no planets to ride it. And even if they make a couple, without integrating it into the plot and general gameplay its not simply worth the effort - better leave it for a real add-on.

I've seen pictures of the Hammerhead. It looks awesome, I can't wait to take it for a spin. Hopefully it will be available soon, Mass Effect 2 needs a vehicle. I'm starting to miss the Mako a bit...



By the way, does anyone have an idea how many new missions will come with the Hammerhead Hover-Tank DLC? That was never made clear...

hammer tank = new mission and a lvl cap upgrade...o3o...



I think they are working on it right about now just trying to get rid of all the bugs that u could encountered with it.

Nope, we dont know much about it at all. But based on speculation and what the key commands are we can assume;

- There will be multiple worlds to land on (supported by the "Leave World" command).
- You will be able to mine for resources (supported by the "Mine" command).
- The tank has both a boost and jump function.
- You will not be able to leave the tank and explore the planet surface (supported by the replacement of context sensitive "Space" as now "Jump" and not "Use", and no other key command indicating an ability to leave the vehicle).

I don't think they will release this dlc this week, the third Borderlands DLC is out and since that game is a HUGE success, it could interfere with ME2 DLC. Better release the dlc when there's no competition around.

It's ... not like they got here all on their own. People keep talking in them. It's kind of what's on most people's minds right now.

Retrospectively though, in the future for issues like this, it might be a good idea for just one of these threads to get stickied so the front page doesn't end up with a bunch of them. For Hammerhead it should be kind of a moot point though, since we should be getting it ...
