Also, in relation to the side quests comment right above, I rather enjoyed the non cut-paste side quests of ME2. 34 might be an impressive number for ME1, but you need to be realistic and account for repetition.
-The game only is about repetition now. Mission starts, shoot everything that moves, mission ends, onto the next one mission or scan planet, launch probe and repeat. What’s the point of spending time on these building and ship templates if you don’t use them more than a handful of times? In ME1 at some point in every system there was a quest to do, either on a planet or on a ship. In ME2 there isn’t squat and quite a few of those N7 missions take less than 5 minutes to do.

Honestly, the repetition never bothered me as much as lack of content.
I'd much rather have something very similiar to do again, then be done with the game.
-Exactly! After scanning 5 star systems worth of planets and finding nothing to do besides collect minerals, that by the way you have absolutely no use for after you beat the game, I got bored and really annoyed at the developers in this direction they took. Like I’ve posted in another topic, I would rather be bored by having to many quests (like in Oblivion) than be bored because there isn’t anything to do.
Back to the topic…
After looking up the Hammerhead, at least it look pretty cool. As long as it comes out when its fully finished any delay is fine with me. I would rather they made sure they got it right than put out a product that wasnt. But the track record isn’t all that great so far. Issues by several about armor, mainly the helmets that cant be removed and Zaeed having no recruitment quest. He’s just conveniently found before you even get into Omega before you really even get to play the game are two that quickly come to mind. Have to wait and see I guess.
