I remember that it was the greatest year of my life, maybe that's why Bioware is doing this for "the good old days".legend of kane wrote...
I thought the announcment was now coming at the GDC. I'm getting confused, this reminds me of the endless waiting during the ME 1 dlc mess. Remember all the begging for someone just to say something? Every game confrence, we'd say, this time they have to tell us something! only to hear absolutley nothing. And then after a year of that, like cow plop suddenly falling from the sky...we got Pinnicle Station, no explanation, no announcment, no anything... Ahhhh good times....but really, I don't want to go through that again
It doesn't bother me either way I'm still having fun just playing the game and DLC I already have. Plus the wait gave me a chance to go back and play DA:O a couple more times before Awakening comes out.

Guys, chill. You'll get your free bonus content when you get your free bonus content. Whining isn't going to change anything, and neither is this stupid "oh Bioware is losing people every second they wait!"
Inadequate satement.
DlC is not free, it is $15 for a paid license, to access the DLC.
which most piad at the time of purchase of ME2
it is a sneaky way EA not bioware
made games incomplete so you will not trade it in as soon as you "beat it"
to combat Gamespot(and other stores) trade in monopoly.

No. The 'free' DLC is indeed free and requires no charge on the condition you bought any retail copy of the game from anywhere in the world. You dont need to pay any more than you would for any other game. As long as it comes from a store you will get access to the 'free' Cerberus Network DLC, ei; Zaaed, Cerberus Armor and Shotgun, and the Normandy Crash Site.
The 'paid' DLC will be available to everyone, regardless of whether or not you have access to the Cerberus Network. You will pay for it because it takes time to development, is 'substatial', and they ask for it.
Nobody, anywhere, is entitled to any special free DLC beyond whatever BioWare feel like giving you. It is a bonus. A gift. You get what you are given and you pay for what extra you want.

Sorry if I came off grumpy. I'm just sick of some people out there whining about cut content as if BioWare deliberately excluded elements from the game, and as if the concept of content being cut from games never happens (despite happening in every game ever).
lol, so...EA never purposefully cuts things from games to sell as DLC later? The bastards will sell you money in a game as dlc packs. You would have a good point if EA did not prove this to be the case with nearly every title released under their name. The best is EA's awesome move of selling DLC on launch day. This dude claiming this will be sold probably has as much credibility as Bill Clinton in a room alone with Monica Lewinski but blind fandom is just funny. Somehow this probably will end up costing me more, I sense a disturbence in the force...wait it's my wallet. Damn you EA!

I hope it's coming out soon though as i was somewhat disapointed by the lack of side missions in ME2 and how short most of them were. Hopefully the Hammerhead will bring back what i loved ME1 which was exploring uncharted worlds.

How can we be thankful for what they have planned if we know nothing about it? Oh ya, thanks for nothing Bioware. There you go.Magnabyte wrote...
Just to point out, we did get a DLC at the 2 week period, the armor and shotgun. Just to point that out, personally, I'd rather have the Hammerhead when its done, and when we have like 5 planets to roam with it, would be nice if we got it soon, or if we got word, but its bioware's DLC, and personally, I'm just happy they have a group making it for us
To many people think Bioware owe people stuff, we should be more thankful for stuff they have planned. Anyway, not flaming, not insulting, my opinion is all
