I'm at Redcliffe fighting the battle and I've been having loads of trouble, I'm very frustrated for the first in 25 hours of play...

First, the game crashed for no reasons two times. Then, I can't even finish the battle. I fight one single zombie per wabe for 20 minues and nothing happens. There 3 militia left and a few knights and Dwyn. I've even gotten to the castle entrance, the zombie go down and come back to fight me. I,ve closed the game and reloaded my end-battle save but now nothing happens.

Any help? I don't want to restart Redcliffe...

I've rebooted, tried again from the start before the battle. Either the enemies stop coming or they come 1 or 2 at a time forever.

I've finally got it. There was a straggler hiding nowhere.

This part really need more testing, seriously.

There's the same bug on Xbox and 360, I've found on a thread on the older forums. There's not any real fix there. It seems to be a not so common bug but a very bad one when encountered, especially with that music...

Good luck to you all.

I've looked all around and still haven't found anything. Bioware seriously needs to path this.

Im having the same issue.

Ive apparently killed all the undead up top by the windmill but now I cant find any more. Ive been down to the square and docks and nothing is around.

Combat music is blasting so I cant hear what the npcs are saying.

Same problem here. I played the other night for six hours straight, ran all through the town, lake, windmill, and hill up to the castle. Getting one or two zombies, that is it and game won't advance. I've deleted this section and started this section over twice. Patch, way past due to fix this bug. This topic is all over the forums so it's not like they don't know about it.

Press tab to show all the things around you.

Also, just lower the music volume.

Ok now I have a new bug.

I loaded a differnet save and this time the a militia from thetown square comes up to the windmill and tells me undead are attacking the town square.

Problem is, they keep coming and coming and coming....Is this right?

Someone posted you have to keep Tomas, the named npc in front of the Chanty alive- not sure ifthat is tru or not?

They come in many waves. Also, if you want to be able to find any stuck enemies, or enemies your charcters know are there but YOU don't and so you can't leave combat, always have someone in your party who's trained in tracking, or survival/wilderness whatever it is, that allows you to see where enemies are on your minimap. VERY useful.

Yes they will keep coming and coming in waves. 3 waves per side I think. Then there's the issue of finding the stragglers coming from the source of the wave there. A high skill in survival will help you a lot. After all the undead are gone return to the middle of the town square to trigger the cutscene.

Posted Image I finally got through this section.  For some reason when BioWare had the "Manage Characters"  disabled I was unable to get through this section, the game wouldn't advance.  When manage characters finally came back online I was able to delete my original character (unfortunately, I had to start a whole new character and game).   I was not happy about that, anyway, the new character finally got through this section once this came back online and I deleted the original game and started over.

For whatever reason, when they disabled the manage character options, this also messed up game deletions for replay, for me anyway.  Once I deleted this saved section and got right back to this point in the original game I was playing the game wouldn't move forward.  No way would it advance. I don't know why this happened or why this would have affected my game play but it did.  I'm not posting any profile information until I'm through with this game and make it to the end.  I'm not deleteing another game and starting over because of the dragonage servers.   It appears to me that once you update your ingame player profile you can't delete and go back and redo a section.  This has been my experience.  This is why I'm not updating player profile until I reach the end of the game.  This is just my experience so far.  For me the game plays better not being logged into the servers.

There is trick to getting through this section:  make sure your character or party member has the survial skill, this will help, also use the tab key to highlight items and characters around you.  I found the straggler really easy this way.   I finally got the cut scene and advanced into the castle.
