Request to remove (make transparent) Jack's visor / Thane's sunglasses from new Appearance DLC.
They're ridiculous when you consider how much detail went into the eyes in this game.
Please. Someone.

So, I wanted to try the beret mod. Downloaded the tpf file, opened textmod, loaded the mod...no joy. So I saw the part of the instructions that said to add the HelmetAppearance string in the ini. I assumed it was the coalesced.ini.....can't modify that file (I guess because it is a "cooked" file?).
My question is: anyone get the beret into the game, and any friendly tips for me?

notepad doesn't work you can change the line but when you save and start the game masseffect 2 won't work(start)
note: when changing game files make sure to have backups

hey Raanz glad you got it working, and uh the beret is brown cause you didn't load the balckberet and run masseffect2.exe with the texmod program..?
