I'm with RavenholmeCP42:
Request to remove (make transparent) Jack's visor / Thane's sunglasses from new Appearance DLC.
They're ridiculous when you consider how much detail went into the eyes in this game.

Please. Someone.

Could someone (please) give some one-step-at-a-time guidance to ME2 texture modding?
I know there is already lots of tutorials and all, but I'm kinda lost in tons of information(

And, exactly, is it possible to modify textures for "hidden" outfits?
I'm about to do something with this one:

Hi, I logged in here to seek help with my texmod problem. I want to do a simple recoloring of n7 medium armor, but i'm having problem in logging mod as texmod just won't log any texture. I've tried to changed the logging key many times to avoid bumping in binned key but nothing work, please help~

Just to make sure I'm understanding this right (as I'm half-awake -_-, I apologize). You can cycle through the textures on screen, but you can't save them (log them).

Have you tried changing the "Output format"  (try PNG) ?
Are you sure your looking in the "Output folder" for the logged texture (if so, try changing the "Output folder" to somewhere else) ?
I doubt this would make any difference, but try turning on "Number lock" (Num LK on a keyboard).
Try re-downloading Texmod, see if that makes any difference.

Can't think of anything else atm...

Got a request. Can anyone make or show me a link to a texmod that increases the brightness on Tali's face or, at the least, give her a face? I've searched "Tali face texmod" in Google and no luck.

So, I wanted to try the beret mod. Downloaded the tpf file, opened textmod, loaded the mod...no joy. So I saw the part of the instructions that said to add the HelmetAppearance string in the ini. I assumed it was the coalesced.ini.....can't modify that file (I guess because it is a "cooked" file?).

My question is: anyone get the beret into the game, and any friendly tips for me? :)

Add this code(I believe this is the correct code for the Beret)

Edit: oops you need a program to change the coalsced file Notepad++ works fine (free) check out the modding is possibleII thread(first page has most of the info you'll need to know)

Thanks a ton for the info.  Now, just to be clear.  I load the beret.tpf file with textmod, then add that line to the SFXPawn_player file?  That's it?  Can I add the line just using notepad or something similar?

I will give it a shot tonight when I get home.

and paste the new line.

notepad doesn't work you can change the line but when you save and start the game masseffect 2 won't work(start)

note: when changing game files make sure to have backups

Gotcha.  I actually use JEdit because I mess around with UDK on occasion.  I was just unclear why I couldn't actually modify the other ini file.   Thanks for the info.

Yeah I did do that. but before I changed the pawn file.  I'll do it again.  Thanks
EDIT: Got it! Was running the launcher exe instead of the actual game binary.  You're my hero. :)

Grandson of Sam on the old bioware forums made this texturemod for ME1 liara.
to me it looks sweet, but can enyone add the tatoo's and maybe close to the same dark eyeshadow and remove the freckles on the new ME2 DLC face?. the smooth skin is good but the pink lips should not be added

could some one give me the extures for the ME2 teeth? I would like to fix some color bugs X.x I like my Charakters Face, but because of his small mouth 1 Tooth i half black and an other has a larg Yellow spot -.-
