so do you run it in package mod with wtv mods you want in the box on the bottom left?

trying to use the black and oj armor. I put it in the bottom left box and have the ME2 launcher as the launch program. Then i push run and the launcher comes up. I push play and load in but no armor.

OH OH OH

Can you make a texture mod that changes the default clothing. (The one with the short sleeved shirt) into the one from the first game?

Hello everyone! :)
I posted all this originally on the "Modding is Possible" thread. However, since many I imagine don't look at that thread because theyd expect only ini file changes or maybe rather not go modifying and searching for ways to do things on pages worth of forum material, I thought I would post all the texture modifications I have made thus far here.

You can easily download these textures by clicking on my profile, viewing my projects and selecting the "files" tab.

To Run these mods you will need a program called "texmod". It is easy to install and is included in my projects among the mods I made. (Instructions on how to use texture mods with texmod are included)

So here are the mods I have made thus far, and I am glad to take requests and try and make anyone's "texture wish" come true. :)

 I hope you like em! (I did my wery wery best :3
)

THERE WILL BE A SMALL "DOWNLOAD" BUTTON IN MIDDLE OF THE PAGE THAT LOADS WHEN CLICKING ON THE "DOWNLOAD PAGE" LINK.

1) "Ultimate" blond Miranda:

http://i803.photobuc...ss='bbc_img' />

This
updates the original blond miranda. She will now be blond in the
character selection screen no matter what costume you choose, as well
as having blond hair in her HUD icon next to her shields. IMMERSION!!!
lol

Download Page :  social.bioware.com/project/2008/#files

:huh: Miranda doesn't look quite as good blonde as I thought she would...

@shumakiso:

About texmod, you can find all instructions and trouble shooting information on my projects under the texmod project, but yeah pretty much thats the gist of it, target application should be your ME2 exe file in your binaries folder, click on "package mode" choose the tpf mod that you want on the folder icon in the middle, then click run.

For troubles with texmod:

A) Steam causes problems with texmod. To get it to work with Steam, follow these steps:

1. Move TexMod to the Binaries folder.

2. Rename MassEffect2.exe to MassEffect2Bak.exe.

3. Rename Texmod.exe to MassEffect2.exe

Special thx to forumite "TheScruple" for this solution.

B) Some antiviruses are known to actively block texmod, so go ahead and deactivate any anti virus you may have running.

C) Check to make sure you have the correct .exe file for ME2 from the Binaries Folder

D) Check to make sure that you have the tpf file loaded. (obvious but u never know)

I hope this helps, lemme know if it doesn't :)

@Yorick of the damned, theres really no need because that original outfit is unlocked by modifying your ini. Either type in "Mass Effect 2 casual" in youtube for a video and link to that ini or go to the "modding is possible" thread. There people will help you with stuff like that as well.

To everyone else who said thank you, your welcome! I enjoy doing it, and if it helps some people have a more personalized ME experience Im a happy spectre/cyborg/savior of the galaxy whatever. lol

Why isn't there a nude stripper yet? Or Jack nude?

Because texture edits can't change the model. You can make a tatooless Jack, but making her naked woule requite editing the model itself.

@raz3r and Darthcaine,

As Mr. Kusy pointed out, those are not possible requests with texture edits, unfortunately to do that you would need to either modify the ini file or change the shape of the ingame object itself. Both of those things are outside my area of expertise. Sry :/

Anyways BiancoAngelo7, you altered the textures in some other way than recolors?

Something I'd like to request is all gear with an "N7"-logo, without said "N7"-logo.

It annoys the hell out of me that I'm running around in Alliance uniform and have no choice. :3

@Mr. Kusy, yeah Im working on a few projects that were requested that go beyond simple recolors, I dont want to say any details as I dont want to promise anything until its ready and I know its good.

@Varenus

Your request has been added to my to do list. Usually I get smaller requests like yours done within 48 hours. :)

I found that issue somewhat when I fired up my game and ran with a blonde Miranda. Of course I think its more to do with the fact that the hair looks more cornyellow than blonde seen here . So going back to the black hair.

What issue are you talking about? Also, you not liking the blonde tint I gave Miranda shouldnt cause your game to have problems lol. Thank you for taking three sentences to effectively say "I dont like it" lol

Certainly going to give it a try, though perhaps you should have used a cutscene for your screeny, the ingame model just doesnt lookas nice heh...

Kudos on the work... :)

Edit: assuming all I need to backup is the .exe file then if I decide to revert back to the original?

Is it possible to change Garrus's damaged armor with undamaged one?

Thank you.

Dont take it personally. I think its more a problem with the way my game is displaying the hair colour rather than the choice of colour. Still going with the changed Cain and now d/ling the femshep casual uniform.

One more thing. I noticed holograms, when the council appears to have "low resolution cubes (pixels)", even if it is on the highest settings available.

Thanks for the response Bianco, so if there no need to back it up, if I wish to revert back to the default hair colour for Miranda....how do I do that?

@ maviarab

When you run a tpf mod with texmod, simply removing the mod from the list on the left or launching your game from the normal menu will revert your game back to normal. :)

@Frostmanus:

Yeah no clue why that happens wierd as hell, the salarian councilor has eyes that look like hes on a cocaine binge lol And unfortunately changing Garruses Armor to not be damaged anymore would require changing the in game object, which sadly there is no way to do yet.
