@Flashy: Well, I'm playing a female character even though I always play as a male because I wanted to romance Alistair, or at least see if he was worth romancing. Morrigan will be on my next playthrough though I'm not looking forward to how much of a challenge it will be.

*Miranda sees prison guard brutally beating a prisoner*
Miranda: Interrogation is sometimes necessary, but this is just pointless cruelty.

Miranda and Shepard debrief Jack after recruiting her

Briefing room aboard Normandy
*Miranda paces back and forth*
Miranda: Welcome to the Normandy, Jack. I'm Miranda, Shepard's second-in-command. On this ship, we follow orders.
*Miranda stops pacing and puts her hands behind her back*
Jack: Tell the Cerberus cheerleader to back off, Shepard. I'm here because of our deal.

Shepard: Miranda will let you into the system. Let me know what you find.
