HP fandom's crazy anyway. Only thing I really miss is that I'm now stuck with FFN as my primary archive.

I like his romance for the female Warden.  So I don't hate him completely, it's just he isn't good enough to take time away from my male romances with Morrigan or Leliana.  Actually, Leliana is the main problem... guy or gal, I have  a hard time not wooing that wonderful, wonderful girl!

She might be my favourite Bioware romance.  I know, blasphemy... but it is really close between her, Miri, and Ash.

I like Leliana, too. But she has this religious thing going on and can be somewhat intrusive about it. So she's no competition for Miranda. Morrigan comes close, though. I like about her that she has her own agenda and doesn't love get into its way. I don't know if Bioware has anything planned with her, but even if not, I wouldn't regret it.

But in the end no Bioware LI is any competition for Miranda. I think I already mentioned that she could have been built to my specifications.

lol how have I managed to become a mix between a Italian Renaissance Assassin and a COG Sniper? oh well, tickle blade + sniper = WIN! Image IPB
and thanks BTW  Image IPB the splat sound is addicting so sniping is a must

I looove the splattering sound! Too bad it's a bit more dangerous for me to hear it, getting up close with the shotgun and all. I tend to die rather quickly with the sniper...well at least the one time I picked it up last night. In campaign I do alright with it.

Same here Odin.  I do well with it in campaign mode but when it comes to Horde the shotgun is a better bet, though I'm more of a Lancer man myself.  Suicide chainsaw charges ftw!

I too am a sucker for the chainsaw, I have a tendancy to get a bit cocky with it though..

Leliana is spiritual, not religious.  She clearly goes against the tenants of the religion.  Also why do you think it is intrusive?  She makes it clear that she is tolerant of other beliefs and mentions a similar creed to The Way...

HP=Harry Potter

Ah...that does explain it (and thanks for the other explanations). ME-style SF certainly is more compatible with a conservative outlook than Harry Potter, although I know some critics who think HP rather conventional. There's also the rpg crowd who IMO tends to be less conservative than the shooter crowd. Quite a meeting of opposites here, LOL.

Perhaps "intrusive" is too strong. Let's just say she sometimes comes across more strongly than is comfortable. Not enough to make me avoid her, she's much too interesting and sweet, and I also like that you have the option to travel with her after the end. But enough that in a competition with someone like Miranda, there's no question at all who would win.

It's 1600 MS points for every map pack released in one download.

Hm...I'll not too bad, I'll have to pick it up sometime.

Andy picked it up earlier today.  I'm starting to plan another session for about the same time Monday morning, I've got an idea of a couple of good maps where you can bunker down and hold one position as long as possible.

Hell yeah! I'll be there for damn sure!

It is. And I suspect that even the people here who read and write fanfic are not generally involved in other fandoms like Stargate. It's a whole new world for me, and not always ine I'm comfortable with.

Ah, gotcha.  For me it is close enough to make me frustrated.  Usually I have a set favourite... but since DA and ME2 came out, Ash is no longer my sole fav.

Miri fans, quick question: when our beloved lady asks "What idiotic bunch of hormones thought that now was a great time for love?", what happens if choose the middle dialogue option, "Don't know, don't care."?

Also, does any of you happen to have a vid of this? I can only find ones where "Love?" is chosen...

"Don't know, don't care" is basically Shep being a nice guy about it.  Can't remember what he says though.

I think it will result in.. ''I don't care, all that matters is how we feel'' Or something. Definitely best option, in my opinion. :innocent:

The middle dialogue is about Shepard doesn't believe that love is stupid and want to admit how both Shepard & Miranda feel about each other.

I started my online debate "career" in UseNet. Compared to what was going on there in the 90s, the tone here is very civil, probably for the simple fact that you can get yourself banned if you get too extreme. So I'm used to it. But I agree, I've seen more comfortable places. I try to ignore the extremists and not to answer the ideological rants.

Haha, you really should find it, though I find that once headsets are lost, it's tough to find them. It's why I keep mine in my Fallout 3 CE lunchbox.

If you're not sure, just save the game first, then you can always reload...unless you are at that conversation right now, in which case, ignore me. :innocent:

I just recruited "Archangel", so it'll be a while until I reach that point. Aren't planning to rush this playthrough, so I'll probably end up with making hundreds of saves before most conversations again.

Also, I finally found it on YouTube. ^^

Unfortunately, in ME2 you're limited to 60 saves per character.

I'll overwrite old ones regularly, I just meant that I'd make several hundreds in total during my playthough. Also, 60 is alot more than the limit in Mass 1, which was around 15, right?
