I'll try next time Nadia, I should find it soon. Only problem is at 7am on a Saturday I risk feeling the wrath of everybody in my family who is sleeping.

yeah we.. well, I was getting loud I think.. but I do not have neighbors to wake up so I can be 

pass out earplugs to your family on the weekends when we horde... that'll help! 

Haha that's a pretty good idea. Either that or you'll just be able to hear an Englishman whispering quietly in the background behind all of the gunfire and blood splatter!

Yes, she's quite the little sniper isn't she? I think my highlight today was managing to snipe her that one time, hehe.

I need to get better at hammering 'B' so I can start beating you on these chainsaw duels, I think you beat me twice on them.

It was very cool playing alongside you all, great times!

Ieldra, yes I'm referring to psychological abuse. Absolutely no evidence of physical or sexual abuse and plenty that she wasn't. As for L2 side effects, I got the impression from the first game that everyone using the implant suffered side effects, though they most cases are mild to moderate. Those side effects disappear when an individual is retrofitted. Kaidan just doesn't want to.

Admittedly, I never expect any of this to be brought up in game, but the primary expression of my Miranda love is fanfic, and I find some of my theories useful there.

I've updated the dialogue tree a little...

Added the small talk with Lanteia before Shepard and Miranda head off to the docking port.


I'm slowly slogging my way through Miranda's loyalty mission... so many options to go through.

Retrofitting new implants over L2 requires extensive brain surgery which has a low survival rate. That is why most L2s don't upgrade.

I got the impression it was risky (hence why Kaidan doesn't want to), but I don't remember anything about the survival rate. If it was near suicide, i don't think Shepard would have asked him if he thought about it. In any case, I think Miranda has been retrofitted at least once. She's probable on L4 or L5 now.

Kaidan didn't want to upgrade because of the bad experience he had on Jump Zero

From the Mass Effect Wiki - Biotics
It is possible to 'upgrade' from an L2 to an L3 implant, but the procedure is unethical because it carries a high risk of brain damage.
...
L3-R. Short for 'L3-retrofit', this is an L1 or L2 who has undergone extremely dangerous brain surgery to replace their implant with a newer model.

I was wrong... I've mixed survival rate with brain damage. Though I would assume the survival rate isn't 100% with such an invasive procedure..
