I just picked Tali to lead the second team and Miranda says that she almost lost all squad in that mission you rescue her. She really don't hold nothing.

Edit: Totally OT but I just found this thread that says if you give Shep dominate as a bonus power he/she should be considered an Ardat-Yakshi

I'm torn...

On one hand I've got to agree with everyone else, it would be easier to write a second story around Miranda's past. However, on the other hand I really enjoyed the interactions between Shepard and Miranda, so it's tough for me to come to a decision.

In the end, should you two continue writing...I recommend that you do whatever feels natural. I'm sure that we'll love it either way.

You could do a story where Miranda recall's her past to Shep... to keep it about her past and in the present. I agree 1000% with the last sentence.

I just call it as I see it--and that was good.  Damn good.  And I'm hard to please.   

Yeah, the bar was set pretty high going in.  Even if Garrus was bumped down a notch (and I was proven completely and totally wrong), I gained a "dream team" out of it, so it's not all bad.

Miranda... is the better fit for Shepard, at least in terms of the male LI. Shepard isn't about to settle down and build a house or anything anytime soon. He isn't about to turn pirate either. Nor is it likely, after the events of ME2, he'll rejoin the alliance and find a girl to have kids with.

Of course I'm sure fans of the other Shepard LI's can think of some pretty convincing arguments as well but what is indisputable is the fact that Shepard and Miranda have both gone through something that no one else can relate to, except each other.

"We were both engineered for greatness, Shepard..."

It's a connection the two will share for the rest of their lives, regardless of who hooks up with who.

*Edit: BTW! Has no real correlation with the Miranda thread but I FINALLY managed to do Garrus's recruitment quest on VG, on insanity, on a fresh playthrough. It was hard, it was insane, and: "it was totally worth it!"
