Speaking of death, do you think not seeing or hearing from each other for year and then being reunited would be enough to overcome Miranda's natural resistance to PDA?

Anyone here not happy with the current content of this thread is more than welcome to start their own threads where they can talk about Miranda/Mass Effect 24/7 if they so desire.
Otherwise, please don't keep bringing up that there is 'no/less/hardly any Miranda in this thread'.
So I'm going to fire laser beams... pew pew pew.

1+1=2Shepard: What makes you so sure that Niket wouldn't turn on you?
Miranda: He could've turned on me when I ran away. I'm sure my father tried to buy him off.
Miranda: If he didn't do it then, why would he do it now?
Shepard: Did Niket know that you took Oriana from your father?
Miranda: No, he just found out about that recently.
It seems as though Miranda temporarily lost IQ points during this mission. Emotional stress maybe? Seems so unlike her.

I would find it unlikely she'd tell him anything other than that she has to leave. Depends on the romance though.jtav wrote...
Looks like the kiss might work. Poor Jacob. Now I just have to figure out if Miranda''s the kind of person who would tell her boyfriend, who doesn't know she's Cerberus, that she has to fake her death and disappear.

I mostly agree with this.jtav wrote...
I agree that the desire for power is not, of itself,, evil. My problem is with their methods. I simply can't justify turning a colony into husks or implanting Reaper tech into Grayson. That's why I call them evil. The only long-term Cerberus operative we've seen with a semi-functional moral compass is Miranda herself. The organization needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. Maybe taking charge of a revamped Cerberus will be a possible ending for Miranda.Ieldra2 wrote...
I'm somewhat of a Cerberus apologist myself. Well, maybe not exactly, but I do set myself against those who say "Cerberus are all scum, I *hatehatehate* them , and they must all die" or something like that. Because, while I don't agree with their methods, I do agree somewhat with their agenda, depending on what exactly is meant by "human advancement". I don't think it's evil to seek power as such - it all depends on what you do with it once you've got it. I think the artificial evolution I see lurking behind their agenda is inevitable and desirable. Regarding the events in the game, I also can't overlook that they brought Shepard back to life (without that control chip), and that they seem to do something where the Council does not.jtav wrote...
I was asking someone to explain the sudden rash of Cerberus apologists. It's pretty clear to me they're scum. Also, I think I've finally figured out why I'm hard on Miranda: I can't forget who she works for.
Of course that doesn't redeem the whole organization, nor does it justify most of the experiments we know about. But I think that the bigger picture is more complex than "Cerberus are scum". Ah...and let's not forget that Cerberus may be an Alliance organization according to information given in ME1. That also doesn't justify their methods, but it makes the picture even more complex.
I wonder what we'll be able to do with them in ME3. I hope it's something more than the decision between "Destroy them" and "Become them". Because that would be simplistic.
Edit:
Just read the thread "Their methods are extreme". While I maintain my opinion, I must admit that some of the apologist arguments there are crap.
There's the theory that TIM is Grayson, who has replaced the old TIM. Doesn't sound too far-fetched with those eyes. If that theory is correct, it could explain some inconsistencies in Cerberus' actions lately. Perhps Cerberus is already in the process of being rebuilt. But to which purpose?
If not, I agree that Miranda rebuilding it would be an interesting epilogue for her.

She will probably not tell him, for various reasons. First, it would be unprofessional, second, for his own safety.jtav wrote...

From the limited info I've read on the flotilla storyline, it didn't really seem like a story that could continue in ME2 without a lot of filler material to catch gamers up on the story from the books.Guardian295 wrote...

Depending on if Grayson survives the next book, he can easily be set up as a character because it wouldn't take much to explain him. "Cerberus operative with reaper tech." Easy to understand.
