Does anyone ever find it the slightest bit odd that Miranda can't do the biotic barrier? Given that her biotics are "very advanced, for a human" you think she'd be able to pull it off. I understand why they didn't, but I would have liked to have been shown even more that she's stronger, tougher, and more biotically gifted than average.
i saw her as a bit more advaced then the average human most of all if you compare her to Jacob and his crap biotic skills pull and barrier so useless, but i saw it more as it showing Jack biotic skills being way above the human norm, then a shot at Miranda being just average
I agree with this... I don't think any human biotic could of done this except for Jack. Jack is an abnormality whose biotic skills are getting stronger as her brain melts. I think its more game related that either Jacob or Miranda can do the shield and not fail earlier than near the end.

Random observations while replaying ME:
--Tali was whiny in the first game. Much improved in ME2.
--Planet scanning is dull, but the Mako is worse.
--Ashley, Garrus, and Kaidan are cool. Hope to see them again.
--Biotics are even cooler.
--I keep mentally inserting Miranda into the story. What if Cerberus sent her to spy on Shepard and make sure the first human Spectre succeeded?
I didn't find Tali that whiny... I found that she lacked personality at all. She was a walking codex entry in the first game. This is why I feel her romance in ME2 is such a retcon (especially the 'I loved you since ME1'.. ugh).
I'm not sure of some peoples hate for the Mako. So many cite the crap controls of the Mako but on the PC it was easy to control and I never had trouble getting to where I wanted. I found the main problem was the whole pointlessness of driving around for miles without much to do except climb mountains. The only use for the Mako was to waste my time as I drove between cookie cutter side missions. The 'landscapes' all looked like the same barren wasteland, The only Mako levels I sort of enjoyed were part of the main missions and even then it was really dragged out (why am I driving across the landscape when I have a ship?).
Sidenote: I hate 'wrestling'.
