LOL.

I'm playing with the idea that Miranda has learned to affect her own mass with biotics, enabling her to climb easier and faster and fall from any height without taking damage. I think this would be compatible with the idea of how biotics work, we see Samara doing similar things, and the only reason the game doesn't have it is that it doesn't feature any other mode of movement but walking/running (something I find all Bioware RPGs lack - ever since Deus Ex and Thief I miss being able to climb and swim)

Most likely she does. Biotics play a;lot diffrently in lore and in the story then gameplay. Look what Jack does to those three Mechs? Seeing as Miri is the third strongest human Biotic (Shepard would be second, with Jack first) most likely she can reduce her mass making her faster, don't know if she could hover tho...

I don't think so, and even if she could, she would be blown away by a breeze - decreasing mass also decreases inertia. Which also means that this ability wouldn't necessarily enable her to hit harder in combat. I can see several levels of it, one which mainly affects movement, and another one with split-second control, that would affect her combat abilities. The latter goes to much into superhero territory for my mental image of the ME universe, but it's still feasible as a biotic ability.

well according to mordin, this application would work well in the boudoir :o

Dear, Deus Ex...

RiP my friend. You will live on in my heart, and on my hard drive. I'm so sorry that your sequel was butchered and name tainted. At least other have learned from your sad story... errr... I guess they haven't actually. But if Bill Gates decides to leave me his fortune, I will resurrect the Deus Ex name, and shed the taint of its lineage!

QFT.
I still have it on my HDD, and I still play it occasionally - incredible story, nice gameplay. It looks increasingly ugly, but as consoles hadn't taken over the market back then, you actually had some detail in it. These days every interactive element must have the size of an elephant to be noticed.

Thats what I thought, however Samara CAN hover s it might be poseable for lets say Jack to hover (Jack is realy the most closes Biotic humans will have to an Asari) also judging my Miris size, her wieght and mass would not be very heavy. I would say she is at least 120 to 130 pounds.

I've always thought Miranda saw sex as just another tool in the box. Her father paid for her looks. She might as well use them.

saw this discussion yesterday, (but wasn't on my laptop to post) - i don't agree with this view at all - Miranda uses her intelligence as much as - if not more than - any physical ability. in-game it is also kinda obvious that she's in charge of the most difficult science projects cerberus undertakes - i don't think that would involve much "spy stuff" or using her looks/sex as a resource, but the ability to organise/run teams and research.

For me it has always been obvious that Miranda is good as a spy. It's not her primary focus, that would be science and research as you say, but you don't get to be a black-ops field operative if you aren't good at the spy stuff. That would include using sex as a tool. I don't think Miranda likes it, but IMO she has the ability and the way she talks about her looks, she's used it that way in the past.

I've heard about it... I'm skeptical though. After what they did to Invisible War. Unless they have openly stated that they are giving the finger to the console crowd, I'm not getting my hopes up for more heartbreak.

Sorry if I come off insensitive, but Darth are you really complaining that people started to play the game without waiting when you aren't online? Did you tell them somehow that you'd be late?

Or am I totally misunderstanding?

I'd been organising a game all weekend and I wasn't late on, I was actually a little early.  Then I find they started half an hour earlier and couldn't be bothered to wait.  I only get to play once or twice a week so it irks me when I try to organise something and then it gets thrown to hell half an hour before I get on when I said I would.

Hi Guardian. Isn't this an unusual time of the day for you?
And yes, I had heard about it, but I remain skeptical. For the reasons see JK's response above.

Sort of, I often come on around now just to see whats going on so I don't have so many pages to look back on later, but I don't normally post now but I couldn't resist when I saw Deus Ex mentioned that game ROCKSImage IPB
