I agree with you, but I'd like to point out that scruples over killing and disliking using sex are very different things. You may not have scruples about using sex, but if you feel strongly enough that you're defiling yourself then you won't do it anyway. At least, should it come to actually sleeping with someone instead of just creating impressions and leading men on, which is at least half of the game.jtav wrote...
This, pretty much. Science, specifically thr problem solving aspect, is clearly her passion, but she does other things as well. Haven't played it, but it sounds like she functions much closer to a intelligence agent in Galaxy. Let me be clear: I'm not saying she sleeps with anything that moves, but honey traps are a legitimate part of covert ops, and Miranda is the type of person to use every tool at her disposal, as appropriate. She's killed people in cold blood. She won't scruple over sex.Ieldra2 wrote...
For me it has always been obvious that Miranda is good as a spy. It's not her primary focus, that would be science and research as you say, but you don't get to be a black-ops field operative if you aren't good at the spy stuff. That would include using sex as a tool. I don't think Miranda likes it, but IMO she has the ability and the way she talks about her looks, she's used it that way in the past.Jebel Krong wrote...
saw this discussion yesterday, (but wasn't on my laptop to post) - i don't agree with this view at all - Miranda uses her intelligence as much as - if not more than - any physical ability. in-game it is also kinda obvious that she's in charge of the most difficult science projects cerberus undertakes - i don't think that would involve much "spy stuff" or using her looks/sex as a resource, but the ability to organise/run teams and research.jtav wrote...
I've always thought Miranda saw sex as just another tool in the box. Her father paid for her looks. She might as well use them.
admittedly i haven't played galaxy, but is miranda actually an intelligence agent? her title is certainly "operative" which suggests more than just project lead and lab-coats, but not necessarily secret-agent behaviour.
