That's not the point.  The point is I spent all weekend planning it only for a couple of people to decide "Ah f*ck 'em" only half an hour before I was due on!  That's what pisses me off, not that I missed out, but that some people don't give a rat's arse that somebody might have put effort into planning a game all weekend.

Woah, woah, woah. Everyone needs to chill...Meg, you've gotta realize that Darth went out of his way to plan a game for us, and we effectively blew him off. So he's pissed, I understand that, and you ranting on him isn't gonna make that go away, y'know?

I liked Alistair a lot but I agree he gets a bit whiny later in the game, especially if you try to play as a complete diplomat, which I did, of course.

Get your facts straight before you start getting all pissy at us! We started an hour maybe an hour and a half before you got on, you could have easily invited us though some were going to sleep, and we didn't expect to go as long as we did so STFU. I'll see everyone else later cuz now I'm pissed

@Andy: Alistair has his moments especially with Morrigan but it gets difficult to deal with him later on. Lol, did you know that he was in GI issue for this very thing?

I completely understand that. He has a right to be upset. But he doesn't have a  right to be rude to everyone who walks in the thread. I wouldn't have said anything, but after the third hostile comment toward someone, I'm not just going to be like, "oh, that's okay.." Especially when people have already apologized for it numerous times.

True, but in all honesty I find it difficult to maintain a civil tone when I'm upset, so I can understand him, luckily it's very difficult to get me to that point. Anyway, I understand where both of you are coming from, but trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline isn't helpful for anyone. Just putting that out there.

Everybody needs to just relax a bit. Darth is understandably upset, he barely gets any time off work and in all fairness he had talked about the game an awful lot over the last couple of days so he could see who was interested. It's obviously pretty annoying for him to get up at 6am on his day off to find that everything has been messed up.



At the same time, I agree that arguing and taking digs at people isn't going to help things. We've always had a solid community here and I, for one, don't want to see it end. I think the best thing to do now is put this behind us and wait for an opportunity for us all to play again, when it's suitable for everybody.

Definitely. I, for one, never had  a problem with it in the first place though. It's hard to read sometimes because I'm a fan of happy endings and all that, but it's still really well-written in my opinion. I like how differently you view things than a lot of us.

You and Odin are right. I apologize to everyone here and Darth. I should have PMed him and spoken to him directly about his behavior rather than lashing out in the thread. It was immature and more harmful than anything and for that I'm sorry.
