@Shinobi: I saw you're drawing. Are you familiar with the thumb and pencil method for measuring? It would help you to get your drawing to look more like Miranda. I'm guessing you sketched it freehand, right?

And I'll be reading Rath and Meg's fanfic probably after school, but it looks like you guys are getting some pretty awesome feedback. Congrats!

Now I'm gonna go shower and drink coffee, then I'll be back, then to school.

Yup I did the same, I just couldn't stop till I had finished it. Just played the demo of Heavy Rain, I think this will be different as I'll not want to get any of the characters killed off on my first playthrough. Back on-topic, I wonder how Bioware is going to handle the situation between Shep/Miri and Cerberus. Part of me would like to think that there is at least 2 variables as to whether we are going it alone or still aided by them. Then there is the whole situation regarding Miri, if she is with you in the final battle (and obviously loyal) and you destroy the base, she resigns, but if she isn't with you, there is no indication regarding this, though of course she agrees that the base needed to be destroyed. However of course if she is with you and you keep the base she says nothing at the scene and when get back, she states how she isn't sure if it was the best idea but doesn't openly say so, more a case of her hoping it was the right choice to keep it.

As others have said, will Oriana factor into the situation if you did destroy the base and Miri resigned. Seeing as the end mission report for her loyalty quest states how TIM is aware that keeping Oriana safe is the surefire way for Cerberus to keep Miri loyal. One thing for sure, I bet that location where he spent most of the game is either heavily fortified or will be abandoned in ME3 if we end up going looking for TIM there (seeing as Miri obviously will know where it is).

had fun climbing up that muddy embankment as Jayden, can't remember how
many goes it took me to get to the top, funniest thing was, it was just
the first part I had trouble with, rest of the way I got up 1 attempt
on each bit. As much as I say I'd like to try and tackle it in small doses, from reading other reviews I can see myself clearly not doing so. Be interesting to see how many playthroughs I do of it. IGN Gave it a 9.0, other reviews I've seen have given it roughly the same. As Chris Roper from IGN states, it is a game that isn't going to suit everyone, I know it will me, because I loved Farenheit and can see me spending hours in this game playing things out differently.

Back on-topic, awesome fanfic Raph & Meg, really enjoyed reading that. Hopefully we'll get to kill that 'old friend' in ME3.

Now then, onto Rath and Meg's fanfic.  I wanted to say this in the public forum rather than a PM as I think it would seem higher praise to do it publicly.

I bloody loved it!  It was well written and well executed, interactions were sharp and precisely what we've come to expect from those three characters.  Toombs was well done, completely and utterly off his rocker which, considering his email to you in the game, made the story all the more believable.  I couldn't find fault with what I read at all, and I hope to see more collaborations from the pair of you in the future.

Regarding the fist fight - you're right, it could've been in a better place, but one thing I think a lot of people missed when they look through that scene is;

A.) Shepard is not a biotic

B.) He had only a pistol on him.



When you run out of bullets, unless you chuck your pistol at your foe, not going to be much you can do, but your point is well made and will be taken to heart when we write the next story.



Regarding the emotions, it is more subtle between the two - probably something we are going to focus on controlling in the next story. But I think for this one, we just wanted to show the full blown passion between the pair. But - like the fist fight portion, we'll do our best to make it better.
