Just putting this out there guys, but Heart of Courage sounds so f*cking awesome on maximum volume on my new iPod, it sounds so awesome my eyes welled up!

I love Two Steps from Hell and that entire genre.  Just epic song after epic song.

My favourites are far and away Heart of Courage, Freedom Fighters and Undying Love.  Out of interest what trailers have Heart of Courage and Undying Love been used for, excluding ME2 of course.  I know Freedom Fighters was used for at least one of the Star Trek trailers.

I've havent heard anyone but Freedom Fighters in a trailer....
I like Protectors of Earth also!

I feel like I'm missing out on this whole Chuck thing, but I just can't bring myself to watch it...

Maybe if she had dark hair and the show was called "Shepard"...

My feelings exactly. I tried the first two episodes and then - Yvonne or not - I just stopped. Instead, I started revisiting my "Alias"-collection. Much more fun and exciting, even though - curse of a very good memory - I remember almost every episode.

So weird. I just took out my copy of the first season and started watching it after I finished Chuck earlier. It's still one of my favorite shows.

It's an acquired taste.  I didn't like the first couple episodes either.  Not sure why I kept watching but eventually I loved it.  You can even see my complaining about how bad I thought it was earlier in this thread.

But then maybe the first couple episodes are just bad, I haven't rewatched them since.

Yeah, especially the first 3 seasons. I felt it went a bit wayward after that. Probably when JJ Abrams shifted his focus to Lost. Not that I don't love Lost but it always bugged me that Alias probably suffered because of that. And Jennifer Garner getting pregnant of course, curse you Affleck!

I knew it's a taste I probably can't acquire, but I tried anyway. But how people can stand characters who make you go "facepalm" every five minutes escapes me - it's as if I lived in another universe. I see people here posting about it, laugh and cry about and with those characters, and they could as well speak krogan or appear as aliens from Alpha Centauri. It's not even that I'd say "Chuck" is bad. It just leaves me 100% unmoved because I can't see the characters as real. Thus: no empathy and no interest in their story. The attraction of the whole thing is completely incomprehensible to me.

Well, perhaps I'm the alien. At least that's what I feel at times....

I see what you mean but sometimes it's because the show is so ridiculous that you find yourself believing it, lol. The whole universe in the show is crazy really so the characters have to be too. :D

Ieldra, are you my twin or something? Because we agree about Chuck and (mostly) Miranda.

Because we suck?  Not sure.

Anyway I was just relaying my experience, no worries.  I am sure there are things you like that I do not care for either.

Inside their little world the characters do make sense and are totally adorable.  I watch almost entirely to root for them.

And I did have a twin sister, but she died at birth.... And I don't believe in reincarnation. ;)
