And Odin... she's there to monitor you.  Flashy and I don't want you to suffer any accidents you know...

Yeah well I'm Master Diplomat AND a gentleman! :o Who else would you turn to if you need to settle arguments without violence?

And Odin, don't worry buddy! I'll come and break you out of there just as soon as my tea and crumpets are done. :P

Take your time man. I'm not going anywhere.

....Really, I'm not.

@Vyn: I think I've been a bit of an open book lately and it hasn't been working in my favor.

@Karstedt: Yeah, but you're a guy... right? Being a woman that tall sucks sometimes. Clothes don't fit right. Men are rarely taller than me or even close to my height. I'm constantly hitting my head on things.

Speaking of which, I have a story about my clumsiness and height at Applebee's that Vyn would just *love*, I'm sure.

Aw, it's okay Kab. Andy isn't the sweet guy we once knew. Darth has turned him to the dark side. We're just going to have to learn to live with that.

*hugs*

Yes, me man. I feel your pain about the clothes though. Pants are the worst... if I ever win the lotto, I will have all my pants custom made... all 3 of them.

Go after the short guys, they love tall women.

Yeah, it really hasn't been helping you lately. Hm, have trouble with elevators? There's a teacher at my school who is about 2 inches taller than you and she does^_^.
*reads words in bold*
Le gasp!
I would love to hear it ;)
As an incentive, I'll tell you a story. Not sure what but life here can get pretty crazy.

Oh man Andy, we're trapped in a room with Flashy, Poison Ivy and apparently Miranda. On top of that Kab is speaking of 'dual sessions'... It looks like we've gotten ourselves into another fine mess!

A 19 year old having a relationship with a 35 year old is not sustainable no matter wat the gender is, a quick fling maybe but the 35 year old would get bored or need more than what someone so young could give. Think about it, when the one turns 25 the other will be 41!

I agree.:innocent:

So you two think all 19 year olds are boring huh? Personally, I think the young un's are the best. They are still having fun and are too naive to be angry and bitter about the poor choices they are making... and of course, by the time they are 35, they are angry and bitter about the poor choices they made and typically living with the consequences.

I can say from personal experience that having a 19-year-old as a gf when you're 35 can be fun but it has its difficulties. I never considered my gf the least bit boring, but I thought her a bit volatile at times. Add five years to both and things either become more stable or you break up. In my case it was a break-up, but I don't regret one day of it.

BTW, you seem to think a 35-year-old single is "angry and bitter". How did you come to that opinion?

@Andy: Oh... It's so hard to keep up. Sorry!

@Vyn: Well, they have those really heavy duty metal light fixtures over the tables at Applebee's and I bent down to sit one time and hit my head on the light fixture so hard that I nearly knocked myself out. The waiter even got the manager and they were asking if I wanted to fill out a report! They were afraid I would sue them or something. Definitely not my proudest moment, but there it is.

Ha! My brother does that in the dining room, but you almost knocked yourself out? Wow. Figures that they would want to avoid a lawsuit though :P
So...my turn huh? I'm not clumsy at all though so I have to think of something else.

My betrayal? You're the one who called me a 50 foot woman! I've been putting up with your hurtful comments all night, but this is the last straw Andy. I have "hurt feelings" now. Excuse me while I go sit in the corner and cry.

I have finally figured out why the sex scene bugs me. The engine room would already be virtually deserted because of the kidnapping. And there's no acknowledgment of this and no real sense of the seriousness of what's going on. At least if it takes place in your quarters, you can try to mentally block out the kidnapping. The whole thing's treated very much like a pair of teenagers sneaking off for a quickie and not two adults who care about each other having sex for the first and, possibly, last time.

I have to agree about this (yet again.... weird). The engine room scene is the only Miranda scene in the game I don't like very much. The mood is more or less OK when the camera focuses on Miranda and Shepard and doesn't show much of the surroundings, but the setting is like a cold shower, especially when you consider that there aren't any people not because Miranda "cleared the room", but because they are all kidnapped by the Collectors. I'd have liked it to take place in Miranda's room. Block the office part with a kinetic barrier (I'm sure that exists) and there should be no problems with...er...surveillance.
