Its a constant annoyance now that I've started playing it on the 360. I just want my achievements now.MegWithAMouth wrote...
I hadn't even thought of the DLC issue because I only play on my 360, but that's a very valid point.Vyndael wrote...
No, you are not the only one. It would definitely make multiple playthroughs a lot easier. I also wish that if you have dlc on one platform you don't have to pay to have it on another. I love Bioware but I'm not paying them twice for the same thing <_<MegWithAMouth wrote...
Am I the only one who wishes you could import characters and stats from ME2 like you can with DAO? Granted, there aren't many stats to import in ME2, but still. I hope they implement that for ME3.

Uh, this sounds more like Ashley than Miranda. At least for me. Miranda goals is pretty straight-forward: Get the job done in order to stop the Reapers. She knows that TIM is the only person who is actively working to save humanity which is why she helps him and Shepard so its not really another person's goals.planguy wrote...
I'm aware of what you were trying to get across, I was just expanding the metaphor to illustrate the possibility that their two powerful personalities could interact in such a way so that one of them ends up consuming the other. On the other hand, the LI's who "orbit" Shepard in this metaphor might be more stable in the long run. Anyways, that whole "orbit" thing does the other LI's a deservice and I think it's a faulty metaphor. If anything Miranda is the single LI who has most consistently demonstrated a tendency to subsume herself in another person's goals. It's what defines her and a lot of her romance with Shepard is him helping her get beyond that.

Okay, that's it! I have officially been guilted and flattered into writing a sequel to my Miranda story. I shall just have to be subversive and not do romance, With that in mind, I don't suppose anyone has Miranda's resignation speech memorized, do you?
It's something along the lines of "I heard. Consider this my resignation."

Off the top of my head because I've done that mission so many times...
TIM: ???
Miranda: Or what? You'll replace me next?
TIM: Miranda, I gave you an order.
Miranda: I noticed. Consider this my resignation.

The game will start at approximately 7am in Britain, so that'll be about 2am on the US East Coast and 11pm on the US West Coast.

Thanks, Vyn and Jedi. Ha, I'm not that big of a softie. She tells Shep point blank she didn't do it for him.
And then she takes out a gun and shoots Shepard in the face. Then she stands over his corpse and laughs.
But they were calling you a softie for caving to the fan pressure not being sentimental about Miranda-Shepard

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here. If that was correct, Miranda would have stayed with her father. She may see herself as something of a tool, but she's confident enough that she defines the cause she lets herself put to. She breaks with TIM in the Paragon ending even without the romance, and without any need for persuasion. I can't see a "consistent tendency" to subsume herself in anything from one instance of letting herself be used for Cerberus' goals. In any case, anyone who fights for a cause can be said to do the same thing.planguy wrote...
