@Andy: I would crawl through the mic and steal you away if you did!

@Darth: No! It's not Irish slash Scottish. They're completely different! And I wouldn't want you butchering either for me. Image IPB Besides, I never said anything was wrong with English accents.

I could try to pull off an Irish accent. Problem is it would start off all right, then qucikly dissolve into a me doing an impression of the 'Lucky Charms' Leprechaun. And that's not good for anyone...

:lol::lol::lol:

Oh, Odin, please do this! I think I might literally die of laughter if you did.

Well, if the lady insists, I just might have to oblige!

Maybe Flashy can do an Italian assassin impression as she snipes the crap out of Locusts.

I've been told I can do a perfect New Zealand accent. Not sure it's polished enough for XBL though...no, it definitely isn't, lol.

Edit: Night Darth, see ya tomorrow buddy!

Speaking of backgrounds, I asked this a few days ago, but does anyone have a preference for what kind of Shepard you use to romance Miranda? My personal preference, as I said, is some variation on a War Hero/Paragon. A Ruthless Shep doesn't challenge her enough and, if I were a Sole Survivor, I would find her apologetics infuriating. I find it very hard to romance her as a Renegade because I like that resignation scene and the arc it gives her. Which is funny, because I think she's meant to be the Renegade option.

I'm totally seeing her pulling off an active reload, popping a locust in the head and uttering "Requiescat in pace".

Extremely badass.

Hahahaha I kid I kid... I dont talk with a jersey accent... it was meant as a joke.

@ Jtav   As I've already said I prefer Sparcer/War Hero.... if your Ruthless then you probably agree with Cerberus and some of it methods. If your a Sole Survivor then you'd probably to pissed to even date Miranda.

@jtav: I always play as a Sole Survivor, but I think you're right. It doesn't make any sense in the game how Shepard just glosses over her involvement with Cerberus and the fact that she's defending the very entity responsible for the most traumatic thing to ever happen to him. I would have to agree that War Hero works the best, though having only played through that once, I honestly don't remember a lot about it and therefore can't elaborate on it more.

@Odin: I know! She's the only one who could ever pull that off. It would be so epic.

Edit: Night Andy!

@Meg About the only way I could see a Miranda/SS pairing working is 1) he's a saint or 2) he has some serious cognitive dissonance going on and pretends she's not the "real" Cerberus. As soon as something happens to remind him that this isn't true, it's going to get ugly. I'll just keept her with my knight in slightly used armor Shep.

I doubt that even the most paragon Shep wouldn't have an issue with that part of her past/present and any character that is that blissfully unaware just doesn't feel like Shepard to me. I maintain that the Shep you have sounds like the best option.

This.

You delve into the deeper and more subtle points of the Miranda/Shep dynamic. Anyone who faults you for that is just crazy.

I play Earthborn Ruthless Shep as mostly paragon and I think it works well. My Shep is ruthless to pricks and relentless in achieving his goals, but compassionate towards his friends and the innocent.

This I think fits with Miranda's personality very well, since she is quite similar. The difference between them is that my Shep is confident in his opinion and follows his conscience, while Miranda usually defers to TIM's and that's what my Shep helps her change by making her trust her judgement and follow her own conscience, in effect making her fully his equal.

I guess it really depends on how you play. I don't consider the ruthless backgroung to mean that he acts in disregard for anyone else. He may be ruthless, but he's not heartless.

For example, he's known as the Butcher of Torfan and lost a lot of soldiers in that siege. Yet in ME2, when Miranda and Jacob questioned him about it, my response was that he lost a lot of good men in that fight and that he regrets those losses, but it needed to be done and everyone that signed up for the mission knew the risks.

@Jtav: Spacer/War Hero would work well I guess. Miranda would also have a possible mother figure to look up to as well. Shepard would be a paragade since "good is dumb" at times. (cookie to whoever gets that reference)
@Meg: Lol, I just remember that I still haven't come up with a good story yet
