LOL

so i gave up on my samara thread over a month ago and suddenly now they're all crazy in it- nice huh?

so their 'leader' or spokesperson or whatever sends me a PM asking if they can start a new thread because THEY want control of the OP.

where were these people when I started the thread? did they just emerge from secret craters in the earth?? what's up with that...

Haha, that's ridiculous. Even if you did let them, some mod would close it anyway because yours still exists. Don't know where they all came from though

oh really? only one 'love' thread can exist at once? so THAT'S why they PM'd me then... I thought they were just being nice.

silly me!!  :lol::lol::lol:

so i guess i'll go back and post in there now. but i think... they get too... erm, technical for my tastes. i also like to talk as a human with others as well as about the character, story, etc so I guess I'm very different than the 'norm' on this website.

and i'm very happy with that too.  =]

I think alot of people do, the thing that is wrong with this world is that if you don''t follow a religion then you dubbed a person who does not beleive in anything and it is wrong.  I had this debate with a pastor and he got mad at me.....

Surprise.

Lol. A religious person, getting mad at you for challenging their beliefs? How strange.

That's always the way it goes, isn't it? People can get really carried away with Jesus...

New DLC featuring 30 minutes of gameplay announced for $10; focusing on Miranda!

Happy April Fool's to you too.

It's only half made up. I am anticipating new DLC @ $10/30min. So I just re-installed KotOR and am collecting mods.

If you want a great mod for KOTOR, I suggest googling Brotherhood of Shadow. Make a save just before you start the mod sidequest though, because it can be glitchy. The mod's final bosses are plenty hard so you may also want a save editor in case you get stuck.

thanks for that but i got it for Xbox... I'm not a PC gamer, well except for three games  :wizard:

Could be a lot worse. Harming yourself for Jesus (flagellants come to mind) is rather silly, but what is really carried away is killing for religion. What is ongoing in the middle east...it's really disheartening. Especially when children are growing up taught to be violent fundamentalists and hate the infidels.

*wakes up to religion debate*

Ugh. I thought there were unwritten laws about not talking about real-world religion and real-world politics. That **** never ends well.

Jesus is a cool historic figure, but he is not devine. To me Jesus is like Siddhārtha Gautama and Muhammad. They did alot for there respected relgions, but they where not godly ordivine and that to me is what Jesus was. He was a man who was a strong beleiver in God and created his own religion which is knowen as Christiantiy (spelling?)

Well it doesn't have to be a love thread. The mods close down threads with the same topics and leave the oldest one open. You know, first come, first serve. Uh, technical? I just saw that last page and one of them was high?

We're happy with that too. We need someone like you to keep us laughing :P

By religion, accepting what you read or are told is faith. By science, you are analyzing physical contsructs as opposed to metaphysical concepts, that is learning.

You nailed it. With science you can see it and beleive in it. Yes a scientist might come around and say it's false but thats rare, what happens is that a scientist finds like lets say the aage of the Earth. A scientist figures out it is a million years old, people are happy. Couple of years later a scientist learsn that it is in fact a Billion, uses new evidence and we got a new fact. Religion is not like that. Religion contradicst alot of things every day (the sun does not move argument was a fun time in history) all the bible and these other books are fictional and moral stories telling you to be good, nothing more, nothing less.

I love debating, especially when it comes to existential matters.
