That thing is stupid. The Japanese sure do have strange ideas for what can be considered scary.

I love Silent Hill and psychological horror. I do wish the gameplay was better, but the horror element is quite nice. Due to being conditioned over the years I'm rather desensitized to the horror genre in general, but I still find cerebral horror like Silent Hill refreshing.

I haven't played a horror game in so long... like, forever... I think the last one was a Resident Evil game.

Does anyone else just get addicted to Bioware-esque RPGs?

And when you switch to other game types suddenly you're wandering around wondering if there's an LI and getting disgusted that you coudln't customize your own character and history or something...

*pictures Fallout 3 with LI* NO, GOD NO!

I made my bad karma character from Fallout 3 look like the Joker.

I made my female look like Bastila

Fallout 3 is a great game. Not the deepest in terms of character interaction but it's still quite good in general. When I think of Oblivion I think of omniscient guards.

Jennifer Hale's finest work, certainly was my favorite role of hers.

Fallout 3 was very good for exploring but in terms of Fallout 1 and 2? It's just shameful. The characters in FO 1+2 where well done, both had deep stories and one had three ways to end the game. You could fight the boss, persuade him to stop or skip him entirly and destoroy the base.

I loved Hale as Bastila, she just did a fantastic job, can't say the same thing with Shepard.....

Yea I heard that Fallout 1 & 2 were better than FO3 in many aspects. I've only played FO3 though. Sounds like I should pick the classics up. Oh I remember Fawkes at the end of FO3 (with the radiation). That was just...lame.

You should. Fallout 1+2 where done by the amazing but dead Black Isle studios. Them and Bioware where the kings at making RPGs, now it's only Bioware. R.I.P Black Isle :crying:

Compared to her other work, I was just let down. She was ok in ME, but in ME2 I just found too many of her lines forced (I can't stand playing a Renagde as female Shepard) I am a Paragade and since Meer is fantastic with renagade lines, I perfer male shepard. Plus we can romance miri and Jack

Fallout 1&2 are classic isometric style RPG's though, so gameplay will not be similar to FO3... just FYI.

And it looks like Independence Day just got 2 sequels... kind of out of left field.

This. They play kinda like BG1+2 expect BG1+2 is not turn base like FO3 and is more tactical.

I had Fallout 2 on my old computer, classic. The nostalgia overtook me so I installed it on my new computer, I play it every now and then.

I get so much nostalgia when I put in BG 1+2, Fallout 1+2, NWN and Planescape: Torment and Diablo 1+2.

During ME2's release, I started a new game in KOTOR. I nearly wept tears of joy.
