There is one that fires three shots at once? Where do you get it?Valmy wrote...

My Adept Shepard was the most fun to play. Instead I'm having a bit of trouble with my Infiltrator because I'm lousy at shooting and always run out of sniper rifle ammo too fast. There's nothing like automatic-hit abilities! To say nothing of automatic-hit-around-the-corner ones.
Man I love sniper rifles. Especially that one that shoots three shots at once. Once I get you in my sights you are dead DEAD!

And, one thing is really nice with a sniper rifle: you can kill enemies in cover, only a part of the head must be visible. And btw, I'm not necessarily bad at shooting aötogether, only at shooting that has to be fast and accurate at the same time. Unfortunately, that's very often.

I like your idea of an appreciation letter. But I'll decide about whether to sign it or not after I read it...
Still in use in 217x? I'd have trouble finding any in use today. Formal engagements are rare where I live, mostly restricted to conservative upper middle class families.jtav wrote...
Anyone care to speculate whether engagement rings are still in use. I'm trying to design one for Miranda, preferably one that could conceivably be afforded by a twenty-six year old staff lieutenant/lieutenant commander. And no, she doesn't get to wear it.

In my experience presenting the ring whilst down on one knee is still very much common practice here in England. At least once you get above the pond slime at the base of society....jtav wrote...
They're still in common use here in the States. Or at least presenting the lady with a ring is. Kneeling while doing so? Not so much.

I'd think wedding rings would still be common. Engagement rings, perhaps not. I also don't know other (present day) cultures' wedding customs, I think there would be significant cultural crossovers.Valmy wrote...

Hmmmm...Anderson was getting a divorce in Mass Effect: Revelations did it even mention a wedding ring in that book?

I wanted rings to be in use because it's an easily recognized visual cue that a proposal is imminent and something Shepard is unlikely to throw away even if she died before he could use it.
No. Nor the one after that, which is the one I'm thinking about. I would kill her if I needed to, but genera;;y I find her more interesting alive, growing and changing. But I like putting her through hell and seeing what she'll do.firecleaner wrote...

All this talk of killing seems to have killed the thread.
