This is really my point here. He is not really concerned with Miranda's happiness, at least if he does not control her. Therefore, I reason, Miranda and Shepard having a child and Miranda's father not being able to raise the child would at most mean that her father is frustrated, rather than happy (because he can't raise the child anyway).

And Shepard is very much held up as the exemplar of humanity. Why wouldn't he want to borrow a few traits from humanity's savior for his genetic dynasty. I suspect any Shepard-Lawson child would be the target of a kidnap attempt posthaste. But I suspect he'd much prefer to grow his own.

It's really subjective whether Shepard is the exemplar of humanity. He can botch the suicide mission and survive with only Morinth and Kasumi, for instance. And if Shepard's genes are in fact really good, it's not as if her father is necessarily rational. I mean, he's basically shown that he's not.

UGH I hate having to get off like that. Sorry Nadia, flashy, kraidy, and shinobi. Really though, I'll explain exactly why:

My mom is paranoid about going to bed at a "proper" time, so she always has had me go to be around 10-11pm EVERY night :'( And since my dad knows it's best to say "yes" to the wife, he doesn't help me. My life's a **** really > I can't wait to turn 18 in September.

And yes, my dad would have done something to me had I not gotten off and pissed my mom off and in turn pissed my dad off (since my mom will just **** to my dad lol). My parents are cool, it's just this bedtime crap that I always gotta deal with. It drives me insane, and I always see myself staying up late to party, but I can't :'(

You can't fight without learning the Angle of Death if you want to know close combat.
