And did I see a troll here earlier? Hehe....with things being very quiet today, he couldn't have come at a better time. At least we had someone to flog (where's the "evil grin" smiley when you need one).
I think he made it in Cerberus base when Shepard is meeting TIM for the first time. The only other place where you can talk to her is when she's sitting behind her desk in the Normandy.
Every time I see some close up shots on Miranda, I admire the amazing modeling work that Bioware did with Miranda's face.

Oh yeah, I was trying to think what scene it was from. I'm ashamed I didn't know it myself.

Hmm. Not so easy to answer since it can't be answered systematically. At least not easily. Maybe not at all. Here are a few random thoughts.jtav wrote...
I've said several times that Miranda appears to be the only Cerberus officer/project lead with a halfway functioning moral compass, but I'm trying to get a better handle on that compass. What won't she do to get the job done? What lines does she draw beyond her horror of the Reaper base. She doesn't strike me as the type to find any particular act intrinsically immoral, but on who those acts are being done to. ie. Torturing a slaver for information is fine, but torturing his ten-year-old son is repulsive. Same with murder and assassination.
These are very preliminary thoughts, and I'm aware that this is an area where I'm in danger of projecting because Miranda and I have very different ways of looking at the world.
(1) Miranda strikes me as a woman who has only recently come to think - prospectively and systematically - about how far she will be able to go for certain ends. TIM has shielded her from most of Cerberus' atrocities, and whatever she did for them cannot have been very difficult for her, or her loyalty wouldn't be as we see it at the start of ME2.
(2) Miranda tries to use "reasonable" means to achieve her purposes. What is acceptable for her cannot be considered fully without taking her purposes into account, and the people who would suffer the consequences of her actions. This makes hard and fast rules very difficult to formulate. More important purposes justify more morally questionable means, and not all people need to be considered equally.
...
...
...
I've tried for at least half an hour to formulate some rules, but I find it almost impossible to generalize any of Miranda's possible decisions. I think she would never deliberately do physical harm to children, and won't sacrifice lives frivolously, but that's about all. I also think she wouldn't hesitate to lie and deceive unless it's to the few people she cares about very much, and even then some of that is acceptable depending on circumstances. Anything else depends on the situation, on her purpose and the people involved.
If asked about if she considers action X acceptable, Miranda's answer would almost always be: it depends.

@Andy: I'm sorry! I'll make it up to you somehow. I hate how dead in here it is lately. Where's Odin? And Flashy? Maybe mentioning their names will be enough to make them show up. It works sometimes...
