I am screaming over here because i haven't played it in so long and forget where they jump out at you... LOL!!!!

I love the atmosphere in that game!  I like the fact that it is dark and that monsters can spawn behind you even after you "cleared" an area.

Doom III was scary? The game is almost entirely cheap scares with guys popping out from closets behind you or jumping at you when you open a door. Its real easy to counter too. Open a door and step side ways and they miss. If you haven't seen an enemy, turn around and shoot (later in the game, you also have to turn around again and shoot).

Plus that lovely chap in the screenshot is a revenant. One of the most annoying enemies from Doom II (heat seeking missles for the lose).
