Hah I forgot to record sections of the last conversation I had with Miranda. Specifically the alternative to [Kiss her]. I wonder if anyone has chosen "I apologize." instead of [Kiss her]...

Its been confirmed that they will appear but I don't know if they're recruitable. I quoted Casey's words from a GI article awhile back.

Haha... its probably one of the more unused options in the game.

I'll have to specifically fire up ME2 to go record it and one of the other unused options that I'm missing. Hopefully then I'll have movies of all the options for this particular conversation.

I think that's exactly how it will pan out.  Hopefully with no new replacement squadmates so if you didn't prepare for the suicide mission adequately and lost people then you've got a smaller team to choose from.

I do not think Cerberus was involved in Miranda's creation. This is because according to the Codex, Cerberus may not have existed at that time - I don't recall the exact year, but the first hint of Cerberus' existence was some years later, and its main purpose makes no sense without any alien species. Miranda was born some years before First Contact.
It's possible that Cerberus knew of what Miranda's father had been about, maybe even helped with yonger sisters. So it's possible TIM knew to approach her after she ran away. But I don't think Cerberus had anything to do with Miranda's creation.

We know that Miranda got her biotics after her birth though how remains a mystery. We also know that Cerberus at one point was interested in Jack because of her biotic potential. Could they have tried to put Jack's biotics into Miranda?

Biotic potential is not innate in humans. It has to be artificially created by exposure to eezo. The Codex says it must happen in utero, but plainly that's not the only way. I think it's plausible that the earlier that happens, the better the chances of survival and biotic potential being the result. Since Jack is younger than Miranda by a few years (at least she appears that way), I very much doubt that Miranda has acquired her biotics after the experiments on Jack started.

killed before she knew them?

I think they got killed before she knew them. It's not plausible that she mentioned Oriana, who she didn't interact with much before she "stole" her (she was a baby, so interaction was limited), but not her other sisters.

BTW, as for not being able to know these things: of course we can't, but we can extrapolate from known facts and make plausible scenarios.

To be honest Casey's quote was still vague enough that he could worm his way out of it.

I'm still going with everyone coming back... Though I'll probably say that character specific missions will be left as DLC.

I'm hoping so, but I'm thinking it'll have a "choose your own squad" style recruitment methof, where you can pick any characters you want, but you have a limited number of slots.

I woul hope u dont spend a whole game recruiting again....

After doing it in ME 2 and DA it would cause me to loose alot of faith in BW creativity if they did it again
