@COD: Unfortunately, I cannot. It was in one of the monthly issues. Unless they posted it online and I wasn't aware of it.
@Andy: Yep. Hate it.
@Meg: You have officially lost my respect.

Normally I'd challenge him for the real one, but I'm afraid he'd sic you and Flashy on me, and I don't want that. I hate damaging pretty things.

Hah I forgot to record sections of the last conversation I had with Miranda. Specifically the alternative to [Kiss her]. I wonder if anyone has chosen "I apologize." instead of [Kiss her]...
I'll have to specifically fire up ME2 to go record it and one of the other unused options that I'm missing. Hopefully then I'll have movies of all the options for this particular conversation.
Shepard : I'm sorry. I know the mission comes first. And I'm glad we can work together.
Miranda : As am I, Commander. And it's most definitely not a competition. I'm proud to serve with you.

Your use of the timeline has completely destroyed this theory. I didn't bother researching this time around. The first mention of Cerberus and the Illusive Man is first mentioned in an untraceable email not long after the First Contact War.Ieldra2 wrote...
I do not think Cerberus was involved in Miranda's creation. This is because according to the Codex, Cerberus may not have existed at that time - I don't recall the exact year, but the first hint of Cerberus' existence was some years later, and its main purpose makes no sense without any alien species. Miranda was born some years before First Contact.
It's possible that Cerberus knew of what Miranda's father had been about, maybe even helped with yonger sisters. So it's possible TIM knew to approach her after she ran away. But I don't think Cerberus had anything to do with Miranda's creation.
If I recall correctly, Miranda was born before biotics were even known about. Considering how the timeline can stretch to match any idea the writers come up with, its still possible that the experiments on Jack helped give Miranda her biotics... though unlikely.Ieldra2 wrote...
Biotic potential is not innate in humans. It has to be artificially created by exposure to eezo. The Codex says it must happen in utero, but plainly that's not the only way. I still think it's plausible that the earlier that happens, the better the chances of survival and biotic potential being the result. Since Jack is younger than Miranda by a few years (at least she appears that way), I very much doubt that Miranda has acquired her biotics after the experiments on Jack started.
I agree... it was an idea that I had because I watched a hilarious review of Attack Of The Clones and the image of all clone troopers learning stuff together was interesting.Ieldra2 wrote...
I think they got killed before she knew them. It's not plausible that she mentioned Oriana, who she didn't interact with much before she "stole" her (she was a baby, so interaction was limited), but not her other sisters.

I always got the sense had the Jack/Miri fight gone bad Miri would own her
Jack seemed ready to go full throttle Miri was holding back.
Dont think either of em could take Samara though, not without Shep and Garrus at least =)

Miranda would easily turn the tide of the battle with a few words that could render Jack's power useless. She may be the stronger biotic but she is unstable. Neither of them could take on Samara. Asari are the most adept with biotics and she is like a thousand years old? Plenty of time to harness her power.callofdoobie wrote...
