Regarding insanity, most of the time I'm able to do fine but it takes patience and time, progressing slowly but steadily. However, I always get stuck on 1 spot in every mission where I die quite a few times.

There's also the problem that whenever Miranda dies, I know I'm screwed, because when I revive her, she's killed again almost instantly. Since she's my Shep's better half, not just in life (she's just so damn useful with her awesome powers), without her support it becomes almost impossible to get through those situations.

And with that I'm going to bed. Have to be up in 6 hours. Be well, people.

As for Miri falling in love with Shep.

Ok so she has all them lines in the romance about her doing 'damm good work' the fact is she still looks at Shep in the same manner whether Shep is he/she during that scene. Although I will admit as far as MaleShep goes she probably was attracted to him earlier but probably considered it more an admiration for what he has done... "he's a hero, a bloody icon!"

I doubt I'll ever play on insanity level or even hardcore. Whilst generally I find normal fairly easy, there are still times when I die and for that I just can't see me enjoying it on a higher level if am dying all the time.

You could really see it in her facial expressions and body language when you're waking up.

If you can't read body language or discern the emotions in her voice - you won't experience the full glory that it is.

A keen eye is key...  Miranda is very good at hiding her emotions in the beginning of the game.
