I just got the idea that there might have been another sister who ran away, and her father kept the lid on it successfully. That would be a nice theme for a fanfic - Miranda meeting a long-lost sister she'd known nothing about.

Now that would be interesting... Would Miranda develop as strong an attachment as she did with Oriana?

Not quite. She would have a problem, but she'd still do it. I would be interesting to see her hunt down some really badass criminal only to see it's a long-lost sister of hers.

Or a brother duh duh duh.. hhhmmm...You think Miranda's father would be vain enough to make a clone or some sort of  brother...why make just girls....wouldn't a son be more vauble to his cause?

Why would that be? Or are you just making assumptions based on existing dynastic traditions?
