Awesome! I'm still pretty rusty at GTA 4, the characters move a bit more sluggishly than I remember...L4D is another matter, thankfully.

Hello all.

I just signed up on the forums. I'm sorry if this is the wrong thread. Let me first say these are my favorite games and in my opinion the BEST games out, and Miranda is a kickass character. I never saw previews for Mass Effect, all I heard was it had sex in it so I didn't really care. My friend introduced it to me and I got taken away. Why don't I see more advertising for Mass Effect and not so much Call of Duty? All I hear is CoD, my brother's play it  every day and get pissed off and yell at the screen and I played Mass Effect and cried with happiness. All the characters are so touching and have their own interesting story, I love all of them, and this "talking to your squadmates" conversations thing is something I never heard of, it's so intricate.

Anyway I only played each game once and I romanced Liara and Miranda. Liara scared me in the 2nd game, and I thought Miranda was mean before doing her loyalty mission, which made me feel bad for her, so I "warmed up to her" like this thread says  So just showing my support for Miranda and this awesome game.

So is there a club or something or do you all just post here to show support?

Hi and welcome to the forums! If you love Mass Effect then I suggest you try out Bioware's other games such as Dragon Age. There is a group (link should be in the first post along with other Miranda related things) but I believe that most people tend to visit this thread more often for discussions.

Intersting quoting option  This will make things easier. If Dragon age is anything like Mass Effect, I'll probably get that, too. Do you choose what you say and make big decisions like Mass Effect?

It does have a lot to offer in multiple playthroughs. You can miss a lot. Yes, you can still romance her so long as you don't affect her loyalty to you. As for Jack, there are 2 routes: The renegade option is considered to be short-lived and not a real romance, while the paragon route is. Hard to explain without spoiling anything else.

I should've clarified, you can be a jerk to other people, but not them. My mistake!

You have to be nice with them though.  But you can be as ruthless or mean in most of the missions and the LI's won't really care.  But if you do snap back at them when the option arises, that usually shuts down the romance.
