Trying to run a cord from the modem/router all the way to my 360. Hopefully it works...



I can't get a new router until tomorrow at the earliest, since Walmart is the only place left open.

I can't think of a reason why that wouldn't work..I mean you're connecting directly to the source so I don't see how it could hurt.

Also, on a seperate note, apparently I can remedy my selective disc- reading xbox issues by knocking rapidly on the xbox at a certain location. Doubt it's going to work, but hey...what's it gonna hurt?


Edit: @Meg, she's off in the distance in someones picture with a sniper obviously! That or she didn't want to seem egotistical, I like the first choice myself.

Youtube, of all places. Obviously I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but I basically have to do the same thing in a different location if I want to get the disc tray to open up when there's no game in it, so for me it's really not too unbelievable.

@Odin: Haha. That must be frustrating. It's too bad 360s and their games weren't made more like NES consoles and games. Those things are practically impossible to kill.

I think I got it... hooked directly to the router... cables everywhere... a death trap. But I should be able to game!

Yeah, it's frustrating at times, but when I manage to open it I kinda feel like the Fonz, so it all works out.

By the way, I just went downstairs and tried it. After a few minutes, it read L4D2. Needless to say I'm not shutting this damned thing off until we play later on.
