Here is something that for some reason it didn't strike me until my 7th playthrough. Niket doesn't just confirm Miranda's statement about her Dad being a powerful businessman, Niket actually says her dad is the most richest businessman in the galaxy.
Miranda was taught by him (as was Oriana initially), am thinking 'Dark Angel' style programming of the mind here, this of course would allow Miranda to counter any attempts he has made to locate her and Oriana.
I know we've snowballed this idea before but what if Miranda's dad really was the Shadow Broker.
One thing to point out before someone mentions how long 'The Shadow Broker' has been around, I am referring to the 'current' Shadow Broker. Shadow Broker is just a pseudo-name that any number of people can easily pick up or 'take the torch' so to speak. Which is basically what Miranda's dad wanted of her and then Oriana when Miranda left.
It could also explain why the Shadow Broker was trying to get information about Cerberus in ME. Sure when Cerberus was first starting off Miranda's dad was a backer of them, but when Miranda joined them, they fell out. Naturally Miranda would've done her best to take remove his access to them, so this in my opinion gives mre evidence to her dad being the Shadow Broker.
Just a theory anyway and of course it would nicely tie up 2 stories with 1 stone (Miranda and Liara). Now I'll admit that I've not read any of the 'comic' so I don't know if there is any reference made that could confirm/deny this, as was saying this is just a theory of mine.

Any thoughts or is the majority of the Mirimaniacs still playing L4D2 or GTA4?
Pretty much. It's daytime in the UK which means it's boring time in the thread.Guardian295 wrote...

Not sure it's actually dying now. He's hooked it up to his router with a cable instead of wirelessly and his XBL problems seem to have been resolved.Guardian295 wrote...

Hey Darth you up for L4D in about an hour?
We've discussed that theory before and I think it has been mostly dismissed. I don't recall all the reasons, but one of them was the SB's involvement in trying to steal Shepard's body after the crash of the first Normandy. Another was it would be too much of "everything being connected". We don't even know the SB is human - in fact, from how people speak about him he's been around for some time (as an institution at least), and humans have only been around for 30 years.Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...

Yes it still is. I'd though it would heal up after a week but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'm just hoping I don't suffer any serious damage before my next week off towards the end of JuneGuardian295 wrote...

Well it was getting quite painful before my week off and it's a lot better now but it isn't fully healed yet. If it gets really bad again before my next week off in 10 weeks then I may have to take some sick time but I don't think I can realistically afford to do that. I'll probably only end up taking sick leave if I get to the stage where I physically can't walk on it, like if the tendon actually snaps.Guardian295 wrote...

Let's just hope it doesn't reach that point and I get through to my next holiday week ok![]()
The knee I can handle, that's been screwed up for the past 9 years so that's nothing new and is pretty manageable for the most part. It's just my achilles tendon I'm worried about. It healed up fine after I injured it last year, and I have no idea what's aggravated it.Guardian295 wrote...

The big reason for me to not take sick leave is I'd actually end up with less money in my paycheck at the end of the month and I can't really afford that. So it looks like I'll keep working unless something happens to stop me. <_<

I'll be as careful as I can be and take every precaution to prevent further aggravation of course, I just hope it's enough. On the bright side, if it does end up snapping and putting me out of action for a while at least I'd have more time to get through my gamesGuardian295 wrote...
