I'm not sure what your point is... having books doesn't automatically mean they are fiction books.

Thats too msny books to just be teaching or techical books. Her office is not a libary.

I've got roughly 20 books from my engineering course and I only bought roughly half the books I was supposed to. Miranda could easily have more for easy reference.

Oh and the books asset for ME2 has roughly 50 books (unless I overcounted the smaller ones) and Kasumi has 4 of the exact same book assets in her library.

Miranda strikes me as the person who would hate romance books.... She an independent women who doesn't need to be reassured by a "boyfriend"

Question for the fanfic writers among us: am I the only one that pretty much trashes the game script when writing romantic scenes, even if I'm covering the same ground as the game? For instance, my Sheps tend to be a bit more earnest than in game, especially when Miranda is belittling her own abilities. Mostly because I think it's more important to emphasize that he likes *her* and less important to flirt.Or I'll have him tease her, then get serious.

So, am I the only one who follows the romance only in broad outline?

I don't think she gave herself the time to read for entertainment much - she strikes me as somewhat workaholic. She's probably interested and has picked up a lot of second-hand knowledge, but her book collection is probably very well-selected but small.
