OT: In the Engine Room, Your Room, Miranda's Room, the CIC, or the elevator....
Why pick just one?
Give everyone liberty for the day - make sure the whole ship is empty - start in her room, make your way to the elevator, and finish in Shepard's room.

Something dawned on me while I was working on my fic last night. (Warning: sensitive topic ahead) Miranda is just as much an abuse survivor as Jack. Jack's abuse was considerably more severe, but Miranda came in for some fairly heavy emotional abuse at the hands of her father. I think you can make a reasonable argument that her father was planning to "discard" her at the time she ran away. All things considered, I'm amazed she doesn't have more issues than she does.
Not enough specifics is known about her treatment at her father's hands to make that distinction.

I would say she hides her emotional baggage, she just seems to seem to put on a facade that she is perfect to live up to her genetic tailoring... this is my hypothesis based on her actions in the early part of the game. She changes after she gets to know Shep.

Yea it's been said alot that Miri and Jack have more simlarities than most care to notice. Where Jack is infuriated about what happened to her, wants to kill anyone involved with it. Miranda is cool, collected and keeps to herself unless she trusts you. 2 people with almost the same problems but extremely different personalities, I kind of want someone to drop the epiphany piano on them so I can see some non violent interaction between the 2 in ME3...

How the hell do you get him to do that?!
And on the matter of our Miri topic... She is so beautiful!
talk to him after the suicide mission and there is a option to ask him about that
You can do it before the suicide mission as well.
Basically it is his 'Post-loyalty' chat.

The only things post suicide mission are the one liners about how awesome it was to beat the Collectors and live to tell about it and so forth and the cuddling scenes in the Captain's Quarters.
And the ability to leave Zaeed trapped and left to die on Zorya

Yeah sure, I'll do what I can to help. I did write a few fanfics back in my mid-teens, lol. I'm not linking them though, I'd be too embarrassed to read them myself.

My feelings exactly, Valmy.I've never sat down and made a proper fanfic, so I'm not sure how it'd turn out.

but man I don't know if I am patient enough to build the tension right...to get people reading it desperate to see them together and sharing the tension the whole way.
