@Kab: I was actually thinking about that along with Morrigan's ending. What were the fixes anyway? I don't think I remember.
@Jtav: Like Pirates of the Caribbean? I love that idea though

Reality of life, but I agree with him. It would be nice to have the OPTION of multiple endings for the romances. A happy one, a bittersweet one, and a bad one. (just a simple breakdown, hopefully there is more than those 3)

Kab, I'm all for multiple endings. I'm just expressing love for my favorite trope.
Vyn: http://en.wikipedia....asablanca_(film)
That's fine. We just have a difference of opinion is all. I am a straight up romantic and don't view much as more important or noble than love.
Is it bad that one of the endings I want is a tragic love ending where your lI can die? I realy want at ragic ending.
(go figure, my fan fic is going to be tragic)
I don't mind a tragic ending in the midst of multiple endings. SPOILERS FOR BALDUR's GATE 2:
I just want the option to have that happy ending and not the thematic mess that was Viconia's romance endings. Even the "fixes" in the expansion were still horrible. Individually they worked fine, but since there was no real counter balance it was a horrible railroading into one theme for that romance.
Same, I want a lot of endings and I think Bioware might do it because alot of people want Shepards story to end in diffrent ways and osme (including me) even want an ending where the Reapers can win. I was one of the few who loved Viconias romance. It was just so sad and same as why I love mOrrigans. That was dam bittersweet
DAO SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was able to do the Leliana and Morrigan romance bug where I can romance them both and they would not say anything. Her ending was so sad because no matter what you do, she still leaves. I loved it because it was just bittersweet, now there should be some romance endings that are happy, but there should be some tragic ones too.

As for what would be more important, I brought up the idea of Miranda becoming the "Illusive Woman" and taking over Cerberus, She could insure things like Akuze never happen again, but it's a full-time job, though if you wanted to add a little extra bittersweetnesss, I could see them reuniting for one week or so every year and just being themselves.
Oh, thats even better. They can find the relief that they need from their ridiculously dangerous and busy lives in each other.

Just look at Morrigan. It was obvious that her romance was inpisred by hers. Both end in such a sad way and there is almost nothing you can do.

That we know of. For now. I don't think Bioware will leave it at that. I remember back in the old forum days that the devs said there would be a DAO 2 if the first did well. It obviously did so I expect to see an ending to it.kraidy1117 wrote...

Not talking about mIri, talking about Vic from BG2.
Also Vyn you are right, seeing as Bioware has made the The dark ritual canon, and there is most likely going to be a csecond expansion since in Awakaking each epilog for the Warden ends with it saying his/her tale is not over yet and if they have a LI they reunite with her. Most likey that teaser date on that insert is the next DAO expansion since Bioware has said they are making new DLC for DAO and there will be two years of stuff for DAO.

I swear the same thing happened to me. And then I had a dream that we were playing online and you were driving me in a boat, but I could actually stand up and fire the RPG without sliding off. Then I heard Nadia do that clown noise and the music for the zombie horde started and a ton of zombies started swimming toward us. Of course the boat ran out of gas and I ran out of RPGs so we were just sitting there. Then Flashy came in the helilcopter and picked us up. Somehow she was sniping people while she drove the chopper. And Nadia and Kab were already in it too. And then Flashy was like, "I know where the good glitch is," and she flew us to the edge of the map and suddenly we were in Viva Pinata.AccursedOdin wrote...

Hello everyone! How's it going?
I'm fine, though when I went to bed I heard Meg, Flashy, Kab and Nadia talking at random points while trying to sleep. Playing games with people for 10 hours will have that effect on you thought.
Hi Mavi!
I could go on, but I think you understand just how freaking ridiculous of a dream it was.

Im all for a unhappy end to something...there really doesnt need to be multiple ways of doing someting to try and keep everyone happy.
Thus Morrigans and Viconias romances...they are what they are, and I think they are better for being like thay are. If you had 5 different endings to their romances, well to me it would detract from the better ones.

If Morrigan's ending remains as is and there is nothing in later expansions or sequels that allow for a happy ending along with a bad ending, then I'd feel the same way about that romance. Even more so since you are given a certain option.
More Spoilers for BGII:
As for the "fix", they merely added some meat before the inevitable thematic outcome. It was either leave or die. There was no real happy ever after in that romance. The ending was quite moving in ToB, but again there should have been a happy ending in a game revolving around making choices.

If it wasn't in a game about choice, it wouldn't that big of a deal. But in something like DA that gives you slew of options, it would be ridiculous that every single choice you can make always ends with the same theme.
I don't mind bittersweet endings in games or such where choice doesn't exist and it is a linear tale unaffected by the player. That is fine. I love some bittersweet endings.

I found it to fit Morrigan. Now I would have been like wtf if Leliana had a bittersweet ending.
