I couldn't care about the 'community' event anymore. The token thing is a really retarded way that makes sure most people can't get anything.

The worst about it is that it encourages link spamming. IMO reason enough to boycott the whole thing. Too bad many people are blind to this effect. Whoever decided this would be a good idea deserves DoS attacks until he signs an agreement to desist.

Thanks for the nice pictures, btw. I'm up to the neck in work and can rarely post anything.

Dialogue tree updates - Horrible bookmark breaking edition

This new update doesn't contain much new stuff but it does horribly break any existing bookmarks except for links to the default page:

This was required so I could add more dialogue all around the existing bits of conversation. I shouldn't have to break bookmarks until ME3... hopefully.

I've done some sections at the start of ME2 so I could make sure the code would still work. Plan is to do the romance scene then go back to do the Cerberus base at the start and fill in gaps I've missed. I'll leave the suicide mission for later.

so..after doing Jacob's loyalty mission a couple of times now..i keep wondering..anyone knows what is that promise that miranda made to Jacob ?maybe something from ME Galaxy ?

Let's stipulate Miranda returns as a squaddie in ME3. What are your dream and nightmare scenarios?

Dream scenario:

Romance:
(1) We will continue the romance with two subplots: one where Miranda is helping Shepard with some problem from his background for a change, and one where we deal with Miranda's father somehow - not necessarily by killing him but effectively ending his schemes against his children. 
(1a) There will be several conversations, both regarding these subplots and Miranda's and Shepards future. The decisions made here influence which kind of epilogue they will have (see 3 below).
(1b) There will be another big love scene, and one small repeatable one like in DAO. Both are not self-censored and more like the ME1 scenes in style.
(1c) Some other NPCs will occasionally comment on the relationship as Kasumi does.
(1d) If any conflict occurs about old relationships from ME1, we can decide to stay with Miranda with no bad consequences for the relationship with Miranda.

Main plot and story missions:
(2) Miranda will play a significant part, story-wise, in the endgame against the Reapers. 
(2a) There will be one mission where we can play as her. This may have to do with her dealing with TIM somehow. How this mission ends will decide the role of Cerberus in the endgame.
(I think every reappearing LI should have such a mission. Tali's should involve the Migrant fleet and Ashley's/Kaidan's the Alliance. No idea about the others)
(2b) Miranda will have several instances of banter with other team members.

Epilogue:
(3) We have several options for the end, including but not limited to: Miranda and Shepard "flying off into the sunset" and Miranda and Shepard jointly reforming Cerberus.
(3a) The epilogue is shown in a cutscene, not just written out as text.


Nightmare scenario: Either of these:

(1) Miranda dies.
(2) No continuation of the romance implemented, neither in conversation, love scenes or missions.
(3) A fixed epilogue of the sort I very much dislike.
(4) A decision: we must end the romance to gain a significant advantage in the war against the Reapers. While I acknowledge that this would be interesting story-wise, I would very much dislike to see it.

Miranda and Jacob only meet for the first time in Galaxy so its not from there.

I assume the promise is something like "I'll help find information on your father" and it was likely made during whatever romance there was between Miranda and Jacob.
