It has come to my attention that DarthRic plans to troll here. Apologies from the Ash thread. We have no control over him.
Thanks for the warning, drunken pyromaniac! But I don't see what's so trollish about that pic, DarthRic.
Shepard has clearly been getting busy with Miranda way too hard and she has fainted from pleasure and exhaustion - she did not anticipate his cybernetic implants would inrease his performance level so much.
They broke the console in engineering with their "activities" and Miranda accidentally floated through an open airlock Jack "forgot" to close. Shepard suited up and went after her.

I love you, Nightwriter. The pic works for me in a tragic romance way. And bad Nightwriter, getting me to think about Shep and Miranda's sex life and what she likes. I actually have opinions on the matter. And, no, I'm not sharing them.
Not even if we beg really, really hard? And post adorably imploring puppy pictures?

I'm not sure. I was speculating out loud on how homosexuality might be perceived in the ME universe and made sure to use the proper terms. I'm kind of scared to talk about sex on this forum, even if I call things by their proper names.

That seems like a common enough discussion. We talk about homosexuality's place in the ME universe constantly.
Weird.

That's what I would have done. Have the conversation play out as normal, then Miranda breaks into a smile and kisses Shep. We then get a playful sex scene. I know some people prefer she use the teasing to mask her feelings, but I'd prefer it start serious and then get lighter.
I would've put a pre-sex lead up conversation into the romance scene, definitely. For me it just enhances the whole experience and gives the player a sense of interaction and involvement, selecting dialogue options.
I amuse myself thinking of what the conversation would be like - I would definitely make it a bit serious at some point, as well.
I think the scene would start with Shepard walking up and asking, "So why the engine room, Miss Lawson?"

However, the real question is, would Miranda give Shepard the same answer I just gave you?
I'm thinking not. It would be interesting to see what line or reasoning Miranda would invent to distract Shepard from the truth.

Eh, I generally approve of things that make Miranda less like Sarah, not more.
Bah! Heresy. You can't improve on perfection.
Seriously, though: I strongly disapprove of being different merely for the sake of being different. Miranda works very well as she is. The fact that "as she is" could be translated with at least a modicum of accuracy as "Sarah Walker in space" has no real bearing on that fact. If we didn't all love Miranda just the way she is, we probably wouldn't be here (i.e. page 1475 of the second iteration of the Miranda Support Thread) right now.
To put it another way, I don't love Miranda because she's like Sarah. I love Miranda for all the same reasons I love Sarah. Taking any of those reasons away would only detract from the character, as I see it.
Am I clear? Or is this one of those things that makes sense only to me? Seriously, help me out - I've been known to miss these things.

Sure, they have similar kickass commando skills, but I think Miranda is generally a colder, more hardened character, more businesslike and with a sharper, rougher past. It's harder to get through to her and get close to her.

Now to think of a new one. Hm...
