Thank you then, Ieldra.
Good to know that someone dared to defend our dear Miranda.
Love that pics with Yvonne... thanx, now i can move on with my depression.

I posted on that thread too but all I remember saying was Miranda was one of a kind or something along those lines lol I can't stay in a thread that attacks someone none stop.
It's pathetic that people do stuff like that.

Just think of how poor Shepard would feel if our Miranda had twin girls? He'd DROWN in estrogen!

Oh wow... if that ain't the truth I don't know what is... haha.

Maybe they should release a DLC in which the crew of the Normandy must all individually purchase a crappy shuttle and then race each other to the Citadel from Omega?

Now that would be amusing! Bit of theatrics would probably work a lot better than DLC, though. Not quite sure how they'd make it work..
Who'd be Clarkson?
Who'd be Hamster?
Who'd be Captain Slow?

Is the infatuation with Miranda based more on a crush on the real life actress she is modeled after (don't know how to spell her name), who is very good looking and from what i've heard a good actress (haven't seen chuck, although i will check it out some time) or based more on the actually digital woman Miranda? I am genually curious.

No, not for me. I love her personality and character. If you read throughout the first Miranda thread and now this one, you'd see the majority of us love her for her personality. Heck, I didn't even know about Yvonne until I played the game and later found out, as is the case with almost everyone else here too :)

ok, well i don't know if can do 147 pages but after your responses i think i will go back and try to get a good feel for this thread. The responses so far were pretty much what i expected, and i do like seeing other peoples views on characters, especially ones i find interesting myself. I wonder if ME will eventually go the way of halo and star wars and get a huge expanded universe where a lot of these characters are really hashed out.....

A lot of the best input and thoughts from us Miri lovers is found in the original 315 page thread hehe...but there's still good conversations going on in here part 2 as well lol.

OT Chuck post: Apparently this was posted at tvguide *spoilers*:

"Any Chuck scoop? — Mary Ann

MICKEY: I have a series of teases: Someone gets fired. Someone has a child. Someone learns Chuck’s secret. Someone (who’s not a spy) will be in serious danger. Bonus tease: This season’s Subway product placement will be less than subtle in the coming weeks. Hope you like banana peppers!

So here's a question for you all. I am kicking around a short story idea in my head - which may or may not come together due to school + work responsibilities - involving the incident on Akuze. I thought it would be interesting to somehow connect Miranda to that, but I'm not sure if it makes sense.

My gut tells me that if Miranda had any involvement in Akuze, she would have told Shepard sometime after they rescued her sister. I'm trying to come up with a justification for her not telling him until after she quits Cerberus. The best I've been able to come up with is that TIM pulls the "I'm protecting your sister" card on her when she starts to get close to Shepard. Obviously TIM doesn't want Shepard to know for certain that Cerberus was responsible for Akuze, and I think her sister's safety is the only thing that would cause Miranda to keep that info from Shepard. At the end, when Miranda tells TIM to go to hell, she knows they'll have to get her sister away from Cerberus anyway and confesses to Shepard. I'm thinking it would be more along the lines of she could have stopped the massacre by warning the Marines of the maws, rather than being the cause of it.

Any of that make sense?

Okay then. *coughs*

Miranda had two messages waiting for her when she finally returned to her quarters that evening. The first was from Orianna. It's almost stream of consciousness. Orianna hopped from topic to topic like a frog. She'd been accepted into the bioengineering program at the Lowell City Institute of Technology. Does Miranda have any advice? Her mother loved her new job as a sales agent for Binary Helix. Dad was thinking of getting a dog. The boy who worked at the coffee shop was really cute.

Miranda smiled. Her sister had the normal life she deserved; and, thanks to Shepard, Miranda could share in that life. She had no idea what to tell her about college. She'd never been. Her father had engaged an army of tutors and minders to instruct his heir. She'd lived off the grid after she'd run away until she'd found Cerberus. After, there had been no time to continue her formal education. She's read and talked to experts when she needed to know something for a mission or for her own edification, but that wasn't the same as pulling an all nighter in the company of people her own age.

She didn't know what to say about the boy either. She'd never had a real relationship as a teenager. Her father had seen to that as well. He'd always had her watched and made sure she was never alone. God forbid that she needs some boy and ruin his plans for a genetic dynasty. Sex she understood. She'd used it to manipulate, to relieve stress, to have fun. But the schoolgirl crushes and dinner dates that she sincerely hoped were the limits of her sister's experience with the opposite sex were as foreign to her as rachni. Maybe that was why she kept making a fool of herself in front of Shepard with they were alone. Her inner teenager was taking revenge for decades of neglect.

He's not part of the crew, but TIM would OBVIOUSLY be Clarkson.
Maybe Joker or Mordin as Hammond.
Garrus as Captain Slow. You just KNOW that's the kind of driver he'd be.

To keep this from going too OT: Winner gets Miri?

Surprise entrant in the race: Some say he blows up Reapers just for fun, and that he's had enough of your disingenuous assertions. All we know is, he's called The St...Commander Shepard!

I'm going to guess and say Chuck's sister is the one who's going to have a child. Just a guess. :o

That's a pretty solid concept, in my opinion. It sounds like a perfectly plausible reason why Miranda wouldn't tell Shepard. It's also a pretty serious conflict in their relationship, but not so much so that it would be unbelievable if they patched things up and remained a couple.

I hope you're able to find the time to write it. I'll definitely look forward to reading it!

Yeah, or maybe Morgan's mom and Big Mike.
