It really wouldnt be that hard to hide things from someone like Miranda and if shes as important as she seems then im sure TIM would go the extra mile to not let her have access to anything she thinks would be wrong. and before ME2 and seeing things and getting to know Shepard why would she want to look into why she didnt have access to this or that, she was very loyal to Cerberus. and since we have no clue what Miranda may have done before ME2 logic seems to me that TIM never let her lead anything or see anything that would make her doubt Cerberus. I wonder if we give Miranda to much credit( i meand that she look into everything and not just take it for face vaule) and give TIM not enough credit for what he would do to keep anyone he vaule loyal

the thing that makes me a bit doubtfull about that is that Miranda alredy knew of some things cerberus did and still had not many troubles with them... note i didnt read the books so i dont know how ebil cerberus is

i'm referring to the part where Miri speaks about rachni and thorian creepers and her arguments there seem mostly an excuse rather than some facts...

creepers are humans turned into zombies, if you studey them and want to build an army of creepers you have to sacrifice an army of people to create them so to say that basically they where alredy dead is not a plausible excuse

same goes for the rachni, she cant really argument their choices saying we didnt knew they where intelligent, rachni was a spacefaring race, they had to be an intelligent race... to me (as is kinda shown in me1) they just find them too cunning and difficult to control so they abandoned that project

maybe Miri honestly belived that, but generally i see her as a character where the end justify the means, something that maybe changes a bit during the game, but, expecially at the beginning, she seem quite serious about the "greater good"

Point of order: creepers aren't zombified humans; you're thinking of husks. Creepers, as far as I can tell, are pure plant matter.

Also, Miri's in trouble! Vote Zaeed to save her; he's just three votes behind at the moment.

Come to think of it, is it weird that I care?

I wouldnt be surprized if we never hear or see from TIM again or in ME3 his role is the size of like Anderson, not that i want him to have a small role but Cerebus isnt the focus of ME3 anymore and really Shepard doesnt need them backing him. the thought their would be something were you could kill TIM and stop Cerebus in ME3 and Miranda having a big part in that would be cool though

I think the Alliance/Cerberus angle and what they represent will be a theme in ME3. If we'll see TIM again or not, I don't know, but to me his return - either as an ally or an antagonist - seems the obvious way to go. I'd be *very* surprised if we never heard of him again.

Perhaps. This is really a hater's game - a character's fans will distribute their votes across those they like less than their favorite, so the character with the most haters will be voted out even if there are many fans.

Creepy.

BTW:
Did I just see the Tali thread 2 weeks after reopening with 2000+ pages?

Creepy.

odds are she didnt know about them until she went on the project to bring Shepard back, because everything she knew about or talks about in game have to do with the projects Shepard ran into. So with the understanding of how TIM is why wouldnt he leave out part or tell a little different side to the story before he let Miranda look at the records of those things. While i do see a Miranda as a ends justify a mean person i also see her as someone that the ends justify the means as long as it fits her moral compass. to what Miranda believes or not i honestly see her as the character in ME2 that you can take pretty much everything she says at face vaule, i feel she would either be honest with anything she says or she choices not to say anything, she doesnt really have a reason to lie to Shepard when commenting about the project he ran into

Hey all,

Okay, so I wanted to post this picture of Miranda wielding a sniper rifle and I can't seem to find an "insert image" function.

Do we have to use html code or...?

You have to use the img tags

(img)link to pic(/img)

Except use [ and ] for the parentheses.

mah maybe she really trust TIM too much... even if the rachni stuff seem quite evident imo, but in the end TIM is a good leader and as these project where developed by the "military" department, i suppose Miranda had no access to the files so she didnt really know what happened, just what TIM wants her to know (and to say)... still i found that defence talk a bit odd, expecially as Miri is quite honest about her opinions and intelligence enought to see that something is not that right

Got it.  FInals week. Took a breather before diving right back in study mode.

My humble tribute to the awesomeness that is MIranda/Shepard.

THE BATTLE OF OMEGA

Years from now on, the oppressed will remember the Battle of Omega as a glorious epic. Those who were actually there... not so much.

Image IPB

Shep: Really? Huh, I figured you'd enjoy some of these spy vids as a guilty pleasure. You... really?
Miranda: Commander, with all due respect, this is most certainly not the ideal time to get to know one another as human beings!
Shep: Hey, it's a bad time when you're not doing anything!
Garrus: As fascinating and positively insane human courtship rituals may be, I wouldn't mind actual assistan...
Zaeed: Will you whelps quit it with the nagging and get some shooting done??!!

Image IPB
Miranda: Why, yes, Commander, I do mind you admiring my body in this very moment. I would tell you to focus on our current predicament, but...
Shep: ...
Zaeed: Oh, the kid's focused alright. Not what I had in mind, but tell you what, the leering actually works, Shepard.
Shep: I am *not* leering. Just making sure everyone's safe and sound before the next round. Operative Lawson just happens to be the closest squadm...
Miranda: I don't see you ogling your Turian friend, Commander.
Shep: He's fine. It'd take a gunship or something to punch through that armor of his.
Garrus: Wait, what?
Miranda: A gunship? Now you're just being dramatic, Commander. Even a high-end rifle would pull it off without much trouble.
Garrus: Or we could simply not put either theory to the test. Just saying.
Zaeed: F**k, here they go again.
Garrus: And to think I once thought Shepard keeping Krogans in line and awkwardly warding off promiscuous Asaris was stressful. I really miss the old days.

Man, Miri is getting creamed!  Sort of.  Not really, but she's middling, and that's unacceptable.

If only the power of the Chuck fanbase could be drawn upon...  They win all of their votes!

I MIGHT call upon them if I felt like it made much of a difference.

Am I the only one who thinks that Miranda is funnier than she gives herself credit for? Her sense of humor is rather dry and sarcastic, but it's there. "We're all counting on you to do the impossible. No pressure."And of course, she teases and flirts during the romance Maybe I'm biased because my sense of humor is rather bitter, but I don't think she's quite as humorless as she makes herself out to be.

I love her line when you go to check on Urz in the hospital.

Yes, the line was funny.

About exactly *how* funny she is, Miranda kinda comes off as a bi**hier Garrus.  Awesome in my book, but it's only natural she'd assume that not everyone would respond well to such dry and snarky humor..

On Mordins loyalty mission Shepard can express his anger after finding a dead human that was experimented upon and say something like "now we have one more reason to really shut this place down" and Miranda just says: "I will mention that in my report." Found it quite funny of her.

We should totally start a list of the best Miranda lines.

Hi, Vyn.

It occurs to me that our sense of humor might be the only thing Miranda and I share. We really are nothing alike.

Heya. I think Flashy started working on that awhile back. Think she gave up though.

PC version, Fraps & bringing Miranda everywhere should do the trick...

Now, I'm curious. What does she say about Urz?
