I was shocked when I found out that he could lead a team on the suicide mission and they would all survive.  There was no indication that he was a leader.  I chose Garrus because he had a military background AND a squad.  Jacob seems like a grunt.

Shepard = Miranada; Miranda > Jacob

Just what does Kasumi say about Jacob? Maybe she's just saying he's handsome. That doesn't really mean much. But I haven't heard it. Anyways as I said, I think Jacob and Miranda is a closed book.

I'm
kinda torn on this one. While I did like the righteous anger, I didn't
quite dig your Shep's "you're an idiot" tactic.  I can't see a Paragon
Shep *gloating* about proving Miranda right when it comes to Cerberus.

Still,
as much as I like Miranda, I'm just not sure Miranda's *feelings* are
worth the lives of 49 marines. It's just math, really. 
Agreed that a bullet would've been more merciful, though.

Honestly,
I'd see a renegade Shep going absolutely nuts and killing her right
then and there. A Paragon Shep would most likely not even bother to hurt
her; he'd go stone cold and totally shut her out.

On the subject of the engine room scene, I think it has a lot to do with Miranda's sexual interests.

What do you guys think her sexual preferences are? They don't really dip into this, and I kind of wish they would have seeing as how it seems so pertinent to the romance scene and her choice in locations.

Honestly, I just figure she didn't want it to be in either of their quarters. It'd totally be "too soon, too fast" for her.

Shep was just smart enough to humor her and, ironically enough, "take it slow" as far as they were concerned.

The engine room does sound a bit kinky, but it's the most visually striking location on board, lol.  Figures she'd go for aesthetics.

And no, this isn't me trying to throw in fluff. A Renegade Shep romance doesn't work because he would've totally let her blast Nicket away and would've been more of an overall douche.
