I can certainly see them HALO (or bungee) jumping for the fun of it.
Personally, I don't get the whole idea of getting yourself raised up into the air on a platform, then purposefully throwing yourself off of it with a piece of glorified knicker elastic attached to you being the only thing stopping you from going splat against the ground.

Am I the only one who that Miranda is the kind of person who talks during movies? Particularly sci-fi and spy thrillers? She can't resist snarking at all the things the writer/director got wrong.
Haha, wow! Are we that short of topics?

At least we are staying on topic unlike other fan threads.
I think this is just further evidence of the high level of sophistication and maturity of the Miranda fanbase.

Honestly, I think both of them are adrenalin junkies - they just have their addiction well under control.
I am not sure about Miranda, she seems as thrilled with a high level mental challenge as a physical one.
She just likes challenges to be solved. Shepard, on the other hand, is a military man through and through.

No, of course not. Just thought it was comical the crazy Miranda subjects that you think up. I mean crazy in a good way just for the record.

Well, every character needs quirks and annoying flaws. And sometimes I like to talk about things that I'm not going worry about the reception. Despite my rep, I have to psych myself up to post here sometimes.
I feel sorta bad making fun of you about your rep now that I know it bothers you so much.
We all really like you and appreciate your contributions to this thread, heck in my mind you are the top contributor to this thread, don't sweat it. Seriously.
And you are right, great characters are defined more by their flaws than their strengths. Any idiot can write a perfect character.

Thanks to you. Great move by the way I was worried our nice little community of friends would erode away at some point. Forming a new group was a genius move.

No need to worry about surprising me. As I said, I have no problems discussing these things. But I should mention that nobody should take my simple dislike for something more. It's a matter of aesthetics and symbolism, nothing more.
Ah, and I'm in accord with Valmy about you and your contributions here! Don't confuse passionate disagreement with your opinions with dislike of you.

Very good, Valmy. Sometimes one just needs to compliment oneself.

I also don't. But I do appreciate fast driving. The only problem is driving brings out the worst in me - I tend to see other vehicles on the road as enemies and act accordingly. I'm glad that it's easy to live without a car here in Germany's biggest urban agglomeration.Prudii Aden wrote...

Miranda would be more in control of her emotions, I bet.

What are we talking about? Miranda's possible personality quirks? I think she's the kind of person who might find it difficult to paint or indulge in creativity - the pressure for it to be perfect would be so present she probably couldn't.

Creative as it applies to arts, no. But she's almost certainly creative in her scientific pursuits. Thinking up new theories, setting up experiments, finding connections between seemingly disparate facts, that sort of thing. If she weren't, she wouldn't have pulled off Project Lazarus.jtav wrote...

That's a different kind of creative, I think. That's more inventiveness, resourcefulness, imaginative problem solving.
With that kind of stuff I'm sure she's absolutely brilliant.
