I lifted it from the I Love You Too trailer. I cropped out the TV that the homevideo is being shown on.

In the random thoughts department, I've noticed a striking similarity between my "dream epilogues" for my three favorite characters.

Miranda: takes control of Cerberus and repurposes it into the equivalent of the STG.
Tali:becomes an admiral and forges a peace with the geth.
Liara: takes down the SB and uses hos network as a force for good in the galaxy.

They still have their relationship with Shep if applicable. Apparently I have this thing for indepently powerful women that I didn't even know I had.

Rath: Of course we are. We even manage to have discussions every now and again.

PA: I know it's not. But I'm not used to my favorite characters being women. I am certainly not used to going on feminist tirades like I did yesterday.

That is totally something Miranda would like to do...good reference to her comparison to her own career with Mordin's.

I guess I don't see any conflict at all with being independently powerful and being with somebody.  It isn't required that a man be single to be powerful so why would it be a requirement for a woman?

Meh I agreed with virtually everything you had to say and I never considered myself a feminist...maybe that just means feminist ideas are becoming victorious and now they are accepted by more people...not sure.

Heh. You'd be surprised how many people there are to whom this would be news they won't believe.

I like those epilogues, jtav. All three of them.

Ah, feminism-oriented convos how easily they can go so horribly wrong.

Are we talking about feminists who want women to kick just as much ass? Or are we talking about feminists who claims a woman of Tali's size could pwn a fully-armored Zaeed in his prime with her bare fists?

Good thing Miranda's improved genetics make gender a non-issue on this one, eh.

Keep in mind, I'm still laughing at how someone of Thane's size could pwn that much in h-2-h combat. And I like Thane. Let's just say I used to hit the dojo and the skinny ones of either gender rarely prevailed.

Valmy:I don't self-identify as feminist, but what else do you call saying a woman can be beautiful and good at her job and have power that's not derived from her husband/father? That she's allowed to like sex and this doesn't make her less worthy? I was arguing against things I'd actually heard.

To be fair, we don't know the strength of Drell muscles.  Chimps can do far more than a human can at the same weight as a human.

Done.

I can't help but see the premise of the poll as flawed. I mean, exactly *how* can Legion not win this thing?

Sure, Tali might propose to off him  for a goof or out of principle, but, really...

Darth, the kibd if feminism I'm talking about is the one where women like Miranda are allowed to be strong characters and interesting in their own right. I've heard people seriously argue she's incompetent and got her job by sleeping with TIM.I've seen people--on the oldthread--say she'd be to busy having sex with Shep to work. Excuse me while I throw up.

Tali: Come on, surely there's something edible in there!
Legion: This unit would've volunteered long ago for the greater good of the collective, but it doesn't have much in the way of flesh and...
Tali: EVIL!!!  KILL IT!!
Everyone else:  ...

Good.  Some extremists' diatribes are just out of this world.

...Both are job-obsessed hardasses. Promo Shep totally comes off as that and then some.  As close to canon as it gets.

Miranda and Shep would be just fine having sex non-stop while off-duty.

Really, hate doesn't quite work if you completely disregard EVERYONE's character template, lol.

Poor Garrus, lol. The sniper rifle irony was just too much.
