There are no "you people". Everyone has his or her own preferences. In Miranda's case, it's more her clothing I consider "fanservice". I think she's beautiful, but the clothing should look less like a paint job. For myself, I prefer moderately athletic so I wouldn't mind if they had modelled Miranda after Yvonne's body. But in the end, it's enough that Miranda looks at least moderately good at all. Her personality does the rest.

And besides everybody in Mass Effect has tigh clothing.  There is no way real world men would wear outfits that tight unless we spent weeks doing crunches.  Anyway I love Yvonne but she is downright waifish.

Waifish? She does martial arts. You need a minimum strength for that, which I consider quite incompatible with waifish. I'm not really a fan of her but IMO she looks healthy and not at all skin-and-bones.

Maybe but she IS really thin.  I think that is pretty much a requirement for being on screen because it always makes you look bigger than you are.

I wouldn't say Yvonne was thin, per se. Slightly less than average in build, but not thin or skinny. Kate Moss is thin.

You know, Yvonne is 5'9" (I looked it up). Perhaps that makes her look thinner than she really is.

Continuing my "I hate Miranda and Cerberus" playthrough. Think I will kill off the entire crew just to say I've done it. Only loyalty mission's I'm doing are hers (need to double check some stuff) Thane's (for romance) and Jack's (to force a confrontation) Is the bloodbath doable?

Hey just because Yvonne is 5'9" doesn't mean Miranda is.  Miranda seems taller than that but that just may be the heels.

Hmmmm...you can kill Jack and Thane by not doing the ship upgrades right?

I think it's Jack, Garrus, and Tali that die without upgrades.

Promise I'll treat Miranda better next playthrough. This one's just for fic research. And it's killing me. Normally I treat her very well.

that's a bad picture for comparison...the angle gives you the wrong sense of proportion. one like this would be better:

as for miranda, i don't see her being religious or spiritual really, she's more rational-scientist type personality, too no-nonsense for that.

Yeah but does some sort of cutscene play does anybody say anything when one of your peeps gets offed.  As the casualties mount does morale of the survivors start to go down a bit?  I guess you wouldn't know since you haven't done it yet hehe.

What she says is that it is sort of her body with a few proportions changed.  I was a little surpised to hear she really liked Miranda's outfit but I know Yvonne is a fashion fan.

Just for a lark, anyone got a preference for a "second choice" Shep romance since Miranda's occupied? Either gender. Shep's part isn't big enough for it to matter.

I love how jtav's like a mad scientist with these characters, working out different combinations for the fanfic, tossing some aside just to snatch them up again, mixing and matching potions and ingredients to see what would be a riot and what wouldn't.

She was trying to say they made her hips wider and her boobs bigger.  Which is unfortunately probably disproportionate for a woman that lacking in body fat.

Speaking of characters dying, I wonder if it's possible to have just Jacob and Miranda survive, *and* to get the crew out. Maybe Jack, too, for the perfect human supremacist ending. I have a Renegade femShep I roleplayed that way in ME1 (Council dead, Udina as councillor) who still hasn't got her ME2 playthrough.

Nightwriter, you're just now figuring this out? I'm not an OTP kind of person. Apparently I have lost my mind this time. Miranda/Thane, with a generous side helping of Miranda/Mordin friendship. What can I say? I find Ms. "promise me you won't die" falling for the dying man despite everything too romantic for words.
