I just don't agree with the comparison, beyond them both being the leading ladies of their games.

So, how would you compare them, then? Which aspects do you think important? You know, it's interesting how so many people find both characters interesting, from what I've read there's more overlap than between any other two LI characters.

While the confusion about my RL gender is an appreciated side effect of my forum name, "ieldra" is Old English for "elder" and my use of it refers to an elder race in David Zindell's "Neverness" universe. I recommend the book, obviously.

I thought Ieldra was a she too . The female avatar threw me off... wait... does this mean... that not everybody with a female profile pic on the internet... is a female?! I think my brain just exploded...

Honestly I would more contrast them then compare them. Lets see though,that they both hide their true selves and have confidence issues masked by a tough exterior would be the chief comparison I think.

I'd love it be Miranda dlc but I think the only way she will be involved is if it's another appearance pack. I'm betting on it being the rumoured Liara dlc.

yea...I just don't know what Liara has to do with Horizon, if that is where is at. I thought it was interesting that Horizon is where Sheppard meets up with his/her LI from ME1

Ah, I hadn't actually seen the announcement. Well if it's Ashley dlc I'll be very happy. *Must not get too excited*

Announcement about up coming dlc is on the main home page for ME2. Early next week. States that something is on the Horizon with the word "Horizon" in caps like a proper noun.

To be honest, having read it, I think maybe people are reading too much into it. Seems more like BioWare trying to make a cheap pun in my opinion, lol.

Yea,its tough to get excited for new dlc when its just clothes or a new weapon (which is good, don't get me wrong), just new story content dlc's would be something to get excited about

Yeah I don't really care much about that stuff, although a new Miranda outfit would be fun. But I'd much rather have story-related dlc or "proper" charachter-related dlc, new missions or something.

Going back to Horizon with your new ME2 LI to find out why your LI from ME1 treated you bad would be cool with some Reapers thrown in.

My profile picture - that's my favorite DAO character, the mage Myradis. I gather it isn't that uncommon to have profile pics representing RPG characters if the forum makes that possible. And before you ask, yes I actually prefer to play female characters even in games where I don't get to look at them all the time. Jungian psychology could probably explain that. The obvious problem in ME2, of course, was Miranda - I had five femSheps and one maleShep from ME1. Miranda restored the balance - now it's 3:3.

DLC's are awsome. Any reason to replay ME2! I am busy again with my Vanguard, so much fun with the new Locust!!!!!
