Either live or just VA absolutely.

I could. Considering I hear Jennifer Hale's voice in my head sometimes when I read Miranda's dialogue. Pity she's already FemShep.

Hale did a bad job with Shepard, she was way better as Bastila. <_<

Jennifer Hale has her moments but she was handed a difficult script with FShep. Hearing her try to act it out you really realize the dialogue was written for Mark Meer. I might be a bit sexist here, but Shepherd's lines are very masculine, particularly the renegade options.

You okay there, kraidy?

Strahovski did fine as Miranda. Little off in places, but still mostly good.

I don't like Hale's voice. I would have been very disapointed if it was Miranda's voice.
To me Yvonne is much better VA, and her voice fits perfectly with Miranda.

fongiel, I remember those days. Carth never grabbed my attention the way Bastila did. I must find blue-eyed brunette ice queens compelling. I'm actually disappointed Miranda didn't turn on us in a similar manner. I would have enjoyed the redemption. And she would make a fantastic villain.

Blondes have more fun but brunnettes are more interesting *ducks*. Blonde characters inevitably get stuck with the barbie or bimbo label, often unfairly. You even see it on Chuck a bit on one episode where Casey points out to Chuck, "They don't just waste the blondes on anybody" (referencing the CIA sending Sarah to pick up Chuck in the pilot).

Yes I am ok, just Bastila and Miri mentioned at once  anyways I fond Yvonne very good in ME2, some of the best voice acting in gaming. Not saying she is the best, but she did a very good job.

Hale did a fantastic job with Bastila, but Yvonne is Miri in my eyes (go figure, Miri was moddalded after her)

Yvonne did a great job in ME2 considering this was her first time being a VA in a game.

As for the perfect gift for Miranda? A Stradivarius violin. Miranda obviously has an appreciation for classical music, one of the few interests she can really share with her sister. Considering how stressful her job must be, settling back after a long day with a violin would be almost cathartic. Given her attitude of settling for nothing but the best and her genetic engineering (suggesting she probably has perfect pitch), she could probably appreciate the perfection of a Stradivarius better than most.

I used to think that Miranda wouldn't have time to learn to play an instrument, but this sounds just so intuitively perfect. I can see in my mind as clearly as if had been there all the time. Yes, I think she does play violin. The gift might be a bit big for Shepard, though. These things cost a fortune. Not figuratively spoken.

Ah, a Stradivarius. If only it didn't cost a fortune to have one...

I want to see Yvonne in more video games. Preferably, Bioware since they tend to handle celebrities well.

Oh, yeah, it was a FANTASTIC debut. Her reading was a bit flat in a couple of places (the Jack fight was where I noticed it most) but I RPed my Shepard as belittling or disagreeing her at every opportunity and she does bitter and ruthless well.

I felt she did the catfight wel my self, she did a good job when she said you where a mistake. I wonder if Bioware is going to use her in more of there games like they do with some of there VAs (steve Blum comes to mind)

Oh yeh, last one sold for over six million dollars I think. What came to mind though was Kasumi's loyalty mission. The rich guy with the big vault? The one that contained the Statue of Liberty's head... got me thinking what else might have been in there. After Shepherd and Kasumi kill the boss at the end of the mission, I'm sure they would have had some time to do some browsing.

I noticed she read her lines a little fast during certain cut scenes. Didn't happen too often and you could easily miss it. I think the best ruthless/bitter line she delivered was when you sided with Jack and you ask if things will be ok with you.

Yeah, that was it. I always redo conversations with my favorite characters since you miss a lot of info if you don't. It's nice to get a different outcome too.

Vyn: Oh, yeah. That gave me chills. I heard it for the first time during my last playthrough. You can tell she despises Shep. Would totally expect her to turn on me if I didn't know better.

The only time I had trouble was not nudging her to talk to her sister. That hurt. Everything else was easy. I'm just not protective of her as most of you. Gender difference?
