She looked hot in that episode. Kinda weird how Chuck started drinking Johnny Walker due to the stress of being a spy, then they never went back to it again.

Eh it was just dealing with burning that guy.  He hasn't really had to do anything that brutal since.

Anyway I am touchy about Chuck until it gets renewed for another season Image IPB

It's from an episode of Chuck. She's in "The Castle", a secret CIA base located under a frozen yogurt store :?. The idea isn't as stupid as it sounds when you see how they use it on the show.

Edit: Scratch that, she's in the back of a CIA truck. Just realized I was thinking of the wrong episode.

Well the Yogurt store isn't a real Yogurt store either.

I mean where she cares about him beyond it being her professional responsibility. I don't necessarily mean romantically, but on a personal friendly level.

Oh. Then I'd say right after her loyalty mission, like jtav said.

Just finished up Kasumi's loyalty mission recently.

Was really hoping for the option to bring your current LI to the party. The potential banter between you two and the rich elitists would have been awesome.

Or maybe I just wanted to see Miranda assisting in infiltrating the hideout in a fancy black dress...

Yep.  That was a completely personal commitment by Shepard.

That would be awesome. It would be just like on Chuck, only with Shepherd taking Chuck's role (last Chuck reference from me for today).

That DLC was hard though. I got so used to have Miranda's warp and overload that suddenly having only Kasumi there made it really challenging.

It would be funny to see Shepard blow chuck's head off then mistaken Sarah for Miranda and kiss her.

Is it pathetic that I can narrow down where that shot came from to two or three episodes off the top of my head?

And then the Illusive Man rebuilds Chuck and they switch universes... That'd be a killer idea for a spinoff for both franchises. That's it - I'm writing a letter to NBC.

Also, can't believe this thread's still going. The first one was shut down due to it's length after only 300 pages or so.

TBH, I sorta hoped that this would be shut down when I checked it again, lol.

There isn't enough Miranda discussion going on.

So how many of you guys went into the game thinking you'd like Miranda?

I didn't know much about her, but she did leave a bad first impression when you meet her.

Yeah, a lot of people were put off by Miranda at first. I was, though I was intrigued as well.

I think that's one of the things I like about her character. Your feelings change toward her over time. All the other characters from ME1, and even ME2, they were pretty up front from the beginning. I knew how I felt about them from the get go and it didn't really change that much.

I found her ruthless, calculating, cold, and absolutely fell in love. As Shepherd, you're supposed to be this legendary figure that everyone worships. It was a nice change to have someone challenge you and demand that you prove yourself. Basically from the moment Miranda first opened her mouth, I wanted to know more about the character.

Yes.  Miranda was basically as advertised at first, loyal to Cerberus and driven...and I was a bit curious just what it meant that she was a loyalist, I thought she was going to betray Shep at some point.

Then...after you get Normandy Mk. 2 and you start talking to her in her cabin and learn a bit about her you discover there is more to it, she isn't some fanatic she actually is a believers.  But it was her loyalty mission when I decided she should be my Shep's new LI.  She just had alot more heart and emotional depth than I considered possible for the character at first.  Suddenly I wanted to make her happy and when you start having feelings like that about a character you know it is a well written and well acted one.

I love Miri because she is complex, if you don't tal kto her then you think she is a **** **** who thinks she is number one, which is not the case. She is also jelousus of Shepard, I love the conversation:wizard:

I loved it too. I think it's interesting that Miranda has these layers. I think she's the only character, aside from maybe Jack, who does have layers like that - it 's a good thing and the mark of a well written character imo.

Thats why I love Miri and Jacks romance. They have barriers set up. You need to work to get them to care for you, where Garrus and Talialready have strong feelings for you and Thane, well Thane is Thane. Jacob tho is utter crap. Miri reminds me alot of Sarah Walker. Ironicly Yvonne plays her too.

I did, even before she was anounced as a li. Their was something about her... she seemed like an apology from Bioware for some people in mass effect 1 that will remain name less. She seems to fit with almost any winner type male/shepard. The heroine in shepard's corner (yes thats a play on words).
